THE BOYZ's JACOB brings 'More Than Words' to Manila and Singapore in January 2027

JACOB of THE BOYZ has announced two new dates for “More Than Words”, his first solo showcase tour of Asia. The Korean-Canadian singer-songwriter will perform at Music Museum in Manila on Tuesday, 19 January 2027, and at Foo Chow Hall in Singapore on Thursday, 21 January 2027. Tickets for both shows go on sale on Sunday, 8 November 2026 at 10am (GMT+8) via Megatix.

The tour began in Seoul in July 2026, a month after JACOB released his debut solo EP , j. Across seven songs, he follows a relationship from the uncertainty of a first attraction to the ease of knowing someone well. The January showcases bring that music to Manila and Singapore, where fans can also meet JACOB during a hi-touch session included with every ticket.

VVIP ticket holders also attend soundcheck and take a photo with JACOB in groups of five. At each show, random draws award 10 one-on-one photos with JACOB, 20 signed posters and 10 signed Polaroids to VVIP ticket holders. VIP ticket holders take a photo with JACOB in groups of ten. The VIP draws at each show award 15 signed posters and five signed Polaroids. In CAT 1, 30 fans per show are drawn for a photo with JACOB in groups of 15, and ten signed posters are awarded by draw. In CAT 2, five fans per show are drawn to receive a signed poster. 

Raised in Mississauga, Canada, JACOB debuted with THE BOYZ in 2017. Alongside writing lyrics and composing for the group, he began sharing his own songs on SoundCloud, releasing the mixtape KINDLE in 2021. He went on to write and compose on all seven tracks of j., released in June 2026. The EP includes the title track “Slow Dancing” , “Back & Forth” with fellow THE BOYZ member SUNWOO, and “Promise” with Thai artist WONDERFRAME.
