Bestards Are Coming Back to Singapore for Another Night of Stories and Songs
Following from the success of their sold-out 2025 show, popular Taiwanese band Bestards (理想混蛋) is confirmed to once again make their return to Singapore this December to reunite with fans. Presented by CK Star Entertainment, “《不是因为天气晴朗才见面》” (BESTORY) will first head to Zepp Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia on 21 November 2026 (Saturday), while the Singapore stop will take place on 18 December 2026 (Friday), 7:30PM at The Theatre at Mediacorp.
Since their formation in 2017, Bestards—comprising Lead Singer Kidding (鸡丁), Guitarists Jerry (阿哲) and Dillion (建廷), and Drummer Look (可沛)—have steadily made their mark on the Mandarin music scene with their sincere songwriting, building a loyal following of fans affectionately and wittily known as “Little Bastards” (小混蛋).
Now in their ninth year, Bestards have grown from a humble university band into one of Taiwan’s top acts. They have built an impressive streaming presence, with many of their songs amassing millions of streams across music platforms. Their most popular tracks, “不是因为天气晴朗才爱你” [“Bu Shi Yin Wei Tian Qi Qing Lang Cai Ai Ni”] and “离开的一路上” [“Farewell”], have surpassed 96 million and 58 million streams respectively on Spotify, and were ranked No. 8 and No. 2 amongst Spotify Taiwan’s most-streamed Mandarin songs of 2025. In 2024, Bestards was Spotify’s most-streamed band in Taiwan for that year.
Their stage and crowd sizes have also steadily continued to grow. Starting with multiple sold-out stops in their earlier tours, Bestards continued drawing bigger crowds, and will be playing their first-ever show at the highly-revered Kaohsiung Arena this year, where tickets sold out within just 60 seconds. A second show was subsequently added and sold out immediately as well, further underscoring the band’s growing appeal as a live act.
Three years since their previous album, Bestards recently released their fourth full-length album, “偶像包袱” (MIMICRY), in September this year. Centred around the complexities of adulthood, the album explores themes of responsibility, expectations, self-identity, and life choices. Compared to their earlier works that focused on youth and romance, the new album reflects the members’ perspectives as they step into a more mature phase of life. The official music video for the track “最后一个谎” [“One Last Bouquet”], written and composed by Kidding鸡丁, surpassed 1 million views on YouTube just four days after its release. It has since garnered over 2.6 million views, testament to the album’s strong reception.
For Bestards, live performances have always been an important way to create a genuine connection between their music and fans. Each time they take the stage, their personal stories are transformed into shared memories with the audience. At the Singapore stop of “《不是因为天气晴朗才见面》” (BESTORY), “Little Bastards” (小混蛋) can expect a mix of well-loved classics as well as new tracks from the latest album.
