IDOL RADIO LIVE Brings Three K-Pop Acts Together for One Electric Night in Kuala Lumpur

Inspire Live Arena was already buzzing when MCs JULIE and BELLE of KISS OF LIFE opened the night with a fun performance of Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More.” It was a fitting start to IDOL RADIO LIVE IN KUALA LUMPUR, which brought WHIB, 82MAJOR and KISS OF LIFE together for a night packed with different sounds, big fan chants and plenty of Malaysian love.

WHIB Kick Things Off With Energy

WHIB were first to take the stage, opening with “WHO’S NEXT” before moving through “BANG OUT,” “MOTTO,” “BANG!,” “ROCK THE NATION,” “PAGE OF US” and “ELEVATE.”
The group’s performance moved easily between high-energy tracks and softer moments. “PAGE OF US” gave the crowd a chance to slow down, with fans lifting their lightsticks and waving them across the venue.

This was WHIB’s first visit to Malaysia since their debut in 2023. Although HASEUNG was unable to join the performance after being diagnosed with pneumothorax and advised to rest and recover, the six members who took the stage made sure to give Malaysian AnD plenty to remember.

The members also shared that they had been wanting to try Malaysian food during their visit, with UGeon specifically mentioning satay. After a long wait to meet their Malaysian fans, the group said they would not forget the night and hoped to return in even better form.

82MAJOR Turns Up the Heat

82MAJOR were next, and the atmosphere quickly shifted up another gear with “TROPHY,” “LIKE FIRE,” “TAKEOVER,” “NEED THAT BASS,” “WYD?,” “PASSPORT” and “82.”

Having returned to Malaysia just five months after their previous visit, the group already had a strong connection with the crowd. Every time they come to Malaysia, the members receive huge cheers and support from 82DE, and that energy was clearly felt throughout their set.

“LIKE FIRE” lived up to its name as the venue heated up, but the biggest moment came during “NEED THAT BASS.” When the lyrics hit “need that bass,” the entire crowd answered with a huge “NEED THAT BASS!” fan chant.

The members also showed off their Malay skills, with leader Yechan shouting, “MALAYSIA MANTAP! 82DE MANTAP! 82 MAJOR MANTAP!” and the group encouraging everyone to “Jerit kuat-kuat.” Before leaving the stage, they sweetly told fans, “Sayang korang,” followed by “Jumpa lagi.”

KISS OF LIFE Brings the Night Home

Then came the grand finale.

KISS OF LIFE returned to Malaysia for their second performance following their first Malaysian appearance during their world tour in April 2025. This time, the group had a much longer set to work with, and they clearly made the most of every minute.

The four members opened with “SWEAT,” followed by “WHO IS SHE,” “IGLOO,” “WHAT!,” “BAD NEWS” and “MIDAS TOUCH.” The energy remained high as the members moved confidently across the stage, keeping the crowd on their feet.

Then the mood changed.

The venue lights softened as fans turned on their phone flashlights, creating a sea of lights while the group moved into a slower stretch with “CHEMISTRY,” “NOTHING” and “LIPS HIPS KISS.” The crowd sang along, turning the arena into something that felt much more intimate.

After the softer moment, KISS OF LIFE brought the energy straight back up with “STICKY,” closing the night on a high.

The members shared how much fun they had performing such a long set, especially at IDOL RADIO LIVE IN KUALA LUMPUR. The enthusiastic response from Malaysian fans even made the atmosphere feel like their own concert.

It was a night that gave KISSY plenty to celebrate, and the members made it clear that they hope to return to Malaysia very soon.

A Night Built Around Fan Energy

The night also featured Malaysian singer Ismail Izzani, who performed “Luar Biasa,” “One On One” and “Bidadar.” He also spoke about ZEROBASEONE previously covering one of his songs during their Malaysian concert, calling the experience an honour, before naming CORTIS as his current favourite idol and surprising the crowd with a short Korean rendition of Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips.”

From WHIB’s long-awaited Malaysian return to 82MAJOR’s familiar connection with 82DE and KISS OF LIFE turning the finale into a mini concert of their own, IDOL RADIO LIVE IN KUALA LUMPUR kept the energy moving throughout the night.

Three groups, three different colours, one very loud Malaysian crowd. By the time the final notes faded, Inspire Live Arena had more than lived up to its role as the home of a night built around music, connection and fan energy.
