Prime Video Expands Korean Slate With Three New Series for 2026
Friday, April 17, 2026Prime Video today announced three new Korean titles set to premiere in the second half of 2026, further strengthening its premium content slate and expanding its diverse offerings for customers worldwide.
The newly announced titles follow their initial Korean lineup revealed at Prime Video Presents: International Originals in February, showcasing Prime Video’s continued push in strengthening its position as a premier global destination for K-content.
The three new series span a rich range of genres and storytelling styles from a grounded, realistic romance exploring the complexities of long-term love, to a heartfelt culinary drama about rediscovering one's roots, to a sharp and empowering office romance that challenges workplace conventions.
The first title, KBS 2TV’s A Love Other Than Yours, is a grounded, realistic romance about love and life, starring Seo Kangjun (Undercover High School, Cheese in the Trap, Boyfriend on Demand) and Ahn Eun-jin (Dynamite Kiss, The Good Bad Mother, Hospital Playlist), Lee Joo Ahn (Bon Appétit, Your Majesty; True Beauty) and Jo Aram (Doctor Cha, The Auditors). The series follows Namgung Ho and Lee Mi-do, a couple in a 10-year relationship whose once-burning passion has matured into a quiet trust. But when they find themselves drawn to new love interests, they are forced to confront a difficult question: should they move forward with marriage or finally choose a love other than each other’s?
Next is SLL’s compelling new series Final Table (working title) starring global sensation Ahn Hyo-seop (KPop Demon Hunters, Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy, Business Proposal). The series is set against the high-stakes backdrop of ‘The Table: K-Chef 2026’—a competition to crown the world’s finest Korean chef. It follows Kang Han (Ahn Hyo-seop), an overseas-based chef joins the tournament representing the restaurant ‘Familia’ following an unexpected turn of events. Written and directed by Kim Do-hoon (The Moon Embracing the Sun, Chimera, Medical Top Team), Final Table delivers an authentic portrayal of the professional culinary world, brought to life through rich personal narratives and the powerful synergy of a cast headlined by Ahn Hyo-seop. By introducing an innovative format that merges the dynamic energy of a reality competition with the emotional depth of a scripted drama, the series integrates the high-stakes tension of a real-life showdown with intimate emotional arcs, promising a viewing experience that is both sophisticated and deeply moving.
Finally, SBS’ Nine to Six, an office romance directed by Lee Hyung-min (Strong Girl Bong-soon, Heaven’s Postman, Bad Guy) and Oh Song-hee (The Escape of the Seven). The series centers on Kang I-ji, a deputy manager in an automobile company. Unlike the stereotypical “career woman,” she is neither emotionally deprived nor aggressively ambitious, but an intelligent and capable professional who navigates the challenges of corporate life with wisdom and composure. A relentless workaholic, marriage has long been pushed down her list of priorities. Beside her stands Han Sun-woo, a warm-hearted and sincere intern who doesn’t believe that doing what feels right to the heart, means falling behind. As they gradually discover in each other what they themselves lack, they navigate love, career, family, and social pressure — finding their own balance between independence and connection. The series stars Park Min Young (Siren’s Kiss, Marry My Husband, Confidence Queen), Yook Sung Jae (The Haunted Palace, The Golden Spoon, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God), and Go Soo (Missing: The Other Side, The Front Line, Love 911).
In addition to the newly announced titles, Prime Video previously unveiled its initial slate of upcoming Korean series earlier this year, including Siren’s Kiss, Absolute Value of Romance, See You at Work Tomorrow!, Love in Disguise, Sacred Jewel and Human x Gumiho.
