T-ARA Brings “Summer Again” to KL Leaving Malaysian Queens Wanting More

Kuala Lumpur was filled with nostalgia, energy and plenty of love for T-ARA as the legendary K-pop girl group returned to Malaysia for T-ARA FAN CON IN MALAYSIA 2026 [Summer Again], held on 9 August at Mega Star Arena Kuala Lumpur. 

Over the course of a 1.5-hour fan concert, Qri, Eunjung, Hyomin and Jiyeon reunited with Malaysian Queens for an intimate evening filled with their biggest hits, playful moments, fan interactions and plenty of memories from T-ARA's iconic career.

The fan-con opened the night with a string of familiar hits, including “No.9,” “Lies,” “Sexy Love,” “Bo Peep Bo Peep” and “I Go Crazy Because of You,” instantly getting the crowd singing and dancing along.

Keeping with the fan-con's Summer Again theme, the members were asked who they thought best represented the summer season. Hyomin confidently answered, “Me!” before explaining that each member could represent a different season — with Qri as Winter, Jiyeon as Spring, Eunjung as Autumn and herself as Summer. The members agreed with the fun seasonal descriptions, and it was easy to see why each of them matched their respective seasons in their own unique way.

Of course, T-ARA also couldn't resist showing off their BM skills during their time on stage. The members greeted Malaysian Queens with phrases including “Rindu korang,” “Queens memang best,” “Sayang korang” and “Enjoy show hari ini,” sending the crowd into cheers and proving that their connection with Malaysian fans remains as strong as ever.

One of the most heartwarming highlights of the night came during the fan interaction session, where lucky fans had the chance to pose alongside the members. The moment became even more adorable as fans and T-ARA attempted to recreate different heart shapes and poses displayed on the screen together. 

The fun continued with a dance challenge, which quickly became one of the standout moments of the night. As T-ARA's hit songs played, fans took over the spotlight and danced along — and their moves were so impressive that the crowd screamed as loudly as if T-ARA themselves were performing. The members were clearly impressed too. “I saw you guys dance from backstage, you guys did a great job,” they told the fans, prompting another round of applause and cheers from the audience. 

The emotional highlight came just before the encore, when Malaysian Queens presented a special fan project featuring “Tiamo.” As the crowd sang along for the members, the atmosphere inside Mega Star Arena turned incredibly touching. T-ARA expressed their gratitude for the effort, with Eunjung sharing, “We've sung for fans for such a long time and this is the first time the fans sing for us. Thank you so much for preparing this.” The members then returned to the stage for the encore, closing the night with “So Crazy” and leaving Queens on a high. 

With only 1.5 hours of performances, interactions and memories, the fan-con felt all too short for fans who had waited to see T-ARA back in Malaysia. From their classic hits to the laughter, fan interactions and emotional fan project, the night offered a glimpse of the special bond that T-ARA and Queens continue to share. As the members bid farewell to Kuala Lumpur, one hope remained loud and clear from the crowd: come back soon — and this time, for a full concert.
