The atmosphere inside IDEA LIVE ARENA on October 4 was electric as fans dressed in all-white filled the hall, their excitement reaching a fever pitch long before the lights dimmed. The moment 82MAJOR stepped onto the stage, Kuala Lumpur transformed into a sea of unity — a stunning visual symbol of the deep connection between the rising K-pop group and their devoted fans.Returning to Malaysia just eight months after their first fan meeting, Seongil, Yechan, Seongmo, Seongbin, Seokjoon, and Dogyun proved that their bond with Malaysian fans has only grown stronger. Opening the concert with “Choke” and “Passport,” the members commanded the stage with sleek white outfits, synchronized choreography, and unwavering charisma that immediately sent the crowd into a frenzy. “Selamat datang to our concert! Mari seronok bersama!” (“Welcome to our concert! Let’s have fun together!”) they greeted warmly, while the youngest member Dogyun won hearts with his fluent Malay — “Saya gembira berjumpa dengan anda!” (“I’m very happy to see everyone!”).
The night carried a perfect balance of power and sentiment, highlighted by a special performance of “Meteor Rain,” the beloved OST from the classic Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden. As the group’s soft harmonies filled the arena, fans waved their lightsticks in rhythm, turning the hall into a dazzling, starry sky.
82MAJOR kept the energy high with fiery renditions of Aespa’s “Whiplash” and I-DLE’s “TOMBOY.” In a creative twist, rapper Yechan personally rewrote his rap part in “TOMBOY,” adding lines that conveyed his gratitude and connection to fans — earning loud cheers for his heartfelt touch.
The concert continued with hit songs like “Say More,” “Face Time,” and “Birthday,” each number showcasing the group’s distinct blend of charisma and musicality. Between stages, the members shared their excitement about returning to Malaysia, mentioning their visits to Batu Caves and the Petronas Twin Towers, where they admired the country’s vibrant culture and warm hospitality. Fans responded with endless cheers, their enthusiasm fueling the group’s performances even more.
The biggest surprise of the night came when 82MAJOR announced their upcoming comeback on October 30 with a new album. Fans eagerly begged for hints, but the group playfully teased, “No spoilers! Just 26 more days — please be patient!” Leader Seongil added proudly, “All we can say is that we’re really proud of this album!”
Before closing the show, 82MAJOR took a heartfelt moment to express their gratitude.
“Thank you for your love and energy! Jumpa Lagi! We’ll definitely come back soon — let’s not wait too long for our next meeting! Aku Cinta Padamu!” they said as fans cheered, waved banners, and chanted their names.
Earlier that day, a pre-concert fansign event gave lucky fans the chance to meet the members up close. The boys spent time signing albums, exchanging smiles, and creating memories that fans will cherish forever. Leader Seongil described the experience as “special and unforgettable,” while Dogyun once again melted hearts with his non-stop love signs and bright energy.
As the night came to a close, 82MAJOR thanked fans for their unwavering support and promised to return soon. With their new album dropping on October 30, fans can look forward to the next chapter of 82MAJOR’s journey — and Malaysia will surely be cheering them on all the way.
