Netflix has announced BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, a live global comeback event streaming exclusively on March 21, 2026, at 8 PM KST. Broadcasting live from Gwanghwamun in Seoul, the performance celebrates the release of BTS’ highly anticipated fifth studio album, ARIRANG, and marks the first time RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook reunite on stage since completing South Korea’s mandatory military service.

The live special is presented through a partnership between Netflix and HYBE, bringing BTS’ long-awaited return to audiences worldwide. ARIRANG is described as a reflective body of work that explores the group’s identity and roots, setting the tone for a new chapter in their career. Following the album release, BTS will embark on the ARIRANG World Tour (2026–2027), spanning 34 regions and 82 shows across Asia, North and Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.

Expanding the comeback story further, Netflix will also premiere BTS: THE RETURN on March 27, 2026. Directed by Bao Nguyen, the feature-length documentary chronicles BTS’ reunion and the making of their new album. Filmed after the members regroup in Los Angeles, the documentary offers rare access to their creative process as they reflect on time apart, personal growth, and the challenge of beginning again. Through moments of doubt, laughter, and rediscovery, the film captures how BTS reconnect as artists and brothers while shaping what is set to become a landmark album.

BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG also marks a milestone for Netflix, becoming the platform’s first-ever live event broadcast globally from Korea. The ticketed event signals a new chapter in Netflix’s expanding live programming slate, while reinforcing BTS’ place at the center of global pop culture.
