When a dangerous criminal and a local gangster dive into a life-or-death venture for an impossible shot at turning their lives around, all hell is unleashed in Born Guilty - a newly announced crime noir series coming exclusively to Disney+.

 
Set in 1980s Korea, in a rapidly developing area of Seoul, Born Guilty follows Pengi, a sharp, vicious and unpredictable thug abandoned at a young age at a local orphanage. Raised in a world consumed by crime, Pengi relies on his intellect and ruthless determination to overthrow his rivals, but when he uncovers a unique opportunity to partner with Ssaengdak, a gangster in the city’s northern district, to further advance his ends, the two will work together to seize control of the city’s underworld.

Starring Park Seojun (The Marvels, Itaewon Class) as Pengi, and Um Taegoo (Light Shop, My Sweet Mobster) as Ssaengdak, Born Guilty is directed and written by Hong Wonchan (12:12 The Day, Deliver Us From Evil) and produced by New Point (Charge Me Up) and Plusmedia Entertainment (Chicken Nugget, Unicorn).

Born Guilty is the latest series to be announced as part of the slate of upcoming Korean content coming to Disney+. Fans of high-octane thrillers can sign up to Disney+ today to enjoy immediate access to Made In Korea, about a KCIA agent with an illicit secret; The Worst of Evil about an undercover police officer who attempts to bring down an international drug operation, and Low Life about a group of rival opportunistic chancers who discover a treasure at the bottom of the sea. 

Disney+ fans can also look forward to the return of other popular Original series including: A Shop For Killers Season 2 and Made In Korea Season 2, as well as newly announced titles Perfect Crown starring IU and Byeon Wooseok, Portraits of Delusion (working title) starring Suzy and Kim Seonho, and The Remarried Empress starring Shin Mina, Ju Jihoon, Lee Jongsuk, and Lee Seyoung.
