Love and Revenge Intertwine in Filing for Love

Wednesday, April 01, 2026

Shin Hae-sun and Gong Myoung star in new Korean comedy series Filing for Love, set to premiere on Saturday, April 25 on HBO Max.

The 12-episode series follows an unlikely duo, In-a (played by Shin Hae-sun) and Ki-jun (played by Gong Myoung), as they navigate through workplace politics, a secret past, and revenge, all while falling in love in this refreshing romantic comedy series.

Starring Shin Hae-sun (See You in My 19th Life, Mr. Queen), Gong Myoung (Second Shot at Love, Way Back Love), Kim Jae-uck (Death’s Game, Her Private Life) and Hong Hwa-yeon (I Am A Running Mate, Mental Coach Jegal), Filing for Love is directed by Jamie K Lee, written by Yeo Eun-ho, created by Yang Hee-seung, with Lee Young-ok and Hong Won-joo as Executive Producers. The series is produced by Studio Dragon.

What sets Filing for Love apart is its deeper thematic focus. While the series is fictional, it draws inspiration from real-life experiences of handling workplace affairs within a large corporation. The show explores a reality that feels increasingly familiar, where colleagues often spend more time together than with friends or even partners, making emotional entanglements almost inevitable.

Stream Filing for Love on HBO Max from April 25.
