Thursday, March 12, 2026

Disney+ announced today that the 98th Oscars® will be live streamed in Malaysia on Monday, 16 March at 7AM MYT, directly from the Dolby Theatre® at Ovation Hollywood. For a second consecutive year, Emmy® Award-winning television host, writer, producer and comedian Conan O’Brien will return to host the show.

The following Disney titles are nominated at the 98th Oscars® and the full list of nominees for the 98th Oscars can be found at: https://www.oscars.org/oscars/ceremonies/2026.

Disney+ is the streaming home of Disney and Pixar’s “Elio” and Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia 2,” which are both nominated in the Animated Feature Film category. In celebration of the nominations for “Avatar: Fire and Ash” in the Costume Design and Visual Effects categories, fans can also stream previous Oscar® winners “Zootopia,” “Avatar,” and “Avatar: The Way of Water” on Disney+.

In this fun-filled, action-packed cosmic misadventure, Elio, a space fanatic with an active imagination, is beamed up to an interplanetary organization with members from galaxies far and wide. Mistaken for Earth’s leader, Elio must form bonds with alien life-forms, navigate an intergalactic crisis, and discover who and where he’s truly meant to be. “Elio” is now streaming on Disney+ here.

In “Zootopia 2,” rookie cops Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De’Snake arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before. “Zootopia 2” will begin streaming on Disney+ from 11 March.

In “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” we return to Pandora for the third chapter of Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully and his family. Reeling from one death, the Sullys set out to prevent another — aided by the Wind Traders. But on the way, they’re attacked by the Ash People, who blame Eywa for their ravaged home. The first two Oscar-winning films are now streaming on Disney+, with “Avatar” available here and “Avatar: The Way of Water” here.

Emmy Award-winning live television event producers Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan return as executive producers for the 98th Oscars®, with Rob Paine returning as co-executive producer and Hamish Hamilton as director. Jeff Ross, Mike Sweeney, Taryn Hurd, and Sarah Levine Hall return as producers.
