RIIZE Roars Loud in Kuala Lumpur: A Debut Night of Fire, Fans, and Firsts

Thursday, August 21, 2025

Kuala Lumpur turned into a sea of light sticks and uncontainable energy on August 16 as RIIZE brought their RIIZING LOUD concert tour to Malaysia for the very first time. Held at the IDEA LIVE ARENA, the show was packed to the brim with passionate BRIIZE who came ready to make history with the group’s debut performance in the country.

RIIZE tore through a setlist stacked with hits from their young but already powerful discography, including “Get A Guitar,” “Boom Boom Bass,” “Love 119,” and more. Despite the smaller venue, the group performed with the intensity of a stadium show, matched by stunning visuals, high-energy effects, and bursts of confetti raining down in every shape and color imaginable.

The night was filled with surprises and heartfelt moments. The members shared that they had gone sightseeing at KLCC earlier in the day and were stunned by the majestic Petronas Twin Towers. Their love for their sunbaes also shone through as they performed covers of TVXQ’s “Hug” and EXO’s “Monster.” During “Hug,” the stage featured a bed to recreate the iconic lyric “even if just for a day I want to be your bed,” sending fans into a frenzy.

Adding to the magic, RIIZE delighted the crowd by speaking in Bahasa Melayu, charming fans with their cute attempts at the local language. The members promised they would return and asked BRIIZE to keep waiting for them, assuring everyone that they hope to see the same overwhelming support next time.

RIIZE’s live vocals and performance stamina proved why they are hailed as one of the strongest groups of their generation. Their set leaned heavily into fast, high-energy tracks, but the highlight was the atmosphere itself. The Malaysian crowd was so loud and enthusiastic that even RIIZE admitted they were amazed, repeatedly praising the energy and calling it unforgettable.

For their first show in Malaysia, RIIZE delivered a concert that was intimate yet powerful, playful yet emotional, and above all, a testament to the connection between artist and fans. With promises of coming back, this debut left BRIIZE with memories to last a lifetime.

Special thanks to IME Malaysia for inviting us to witness such an unforgettable night.
