Funny and endearing!

K-dramas are much loved for their romance stories, but bromances often steal the show. There’s something super cute about men bonding and getting invested in each other especially when there are funny hijinks involved. A bromance is the closest form of male friendship, and we love seeing characters being there for each other even if they didn’t get along initially. Check out some amusing bromances that are sure to make you smile and laugh below!

1) D.P

D.P. unites An Jun-ho (Jung Hae-in) and Han Ho-yeol (Koo Kyo-hwan) as a team serving in the Deserter Pursuit Unit in the military. Jun-ho is the new recruit and he feels like a stiff fish out of water. On the other hand, Ho-yeol has a quirky finesse since he has some experience going after army deserters. The two of them are a bit like water and oil at first, but Jun-ho gradually gets used to Ho-yeol’s unconventional personality. Their bond grows stronger as they begin to rely on each other and go through dangerous pursuits together.

2) Racket Boys

Racket Boys follows the story of Yoon Hae-kang (Tang Jun-sang) and his family moving to a rural area. Boastful teenager Hae-kang reluctantly joins the badminton team and the teammates are at odds at first. Despite their initial clashes and bickering, the charming boys end up becoming true friends and rely on one another. The group of young badminton players grow in this heartwarming coming-of-age tale as they chase after their dreams. Their adorable traits will definitely win you over.

3) Navillera

Navillera shows 70-year-old retiree Sim Deok-chul (Park In-hwan) striving to accomplish his lifelong dream of learning ballet. Lee Chae-rok (Song Kang) begrudgingly becomes Deok-chul’s ballet teacher. Deok-chul is brimming with enthusiasm and eagerly plays the role of Chae-rok’s manager in exchange for his lessons. Chae-rok gets annoyed by Deok-chul’s zeal, but later becomes touched by Deok-chul’s support for him. Their cute bromance proves that age differences don’t matter when it comes to friendship.

4) Tale of the Nine Tailed

Tale of the Nine Tailed features half brothers Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook) and Lee Rang (Kim Beom) who have a thorny relationship. Lee Yeon is a gumiho and a former mountain deity while Lee Rang is a half-blood gumiho. Lee Rang has a deep grudge against Lee Yeon and plots revenge due to believing that his older brother abandoned him. Despite the antagonism, they quarrel like typical siblings and make fun of each other over silly things like favorite ice cream flavors. Underneath all the discord, they do truly care about each other.

5) Start-Up

Start-Up presents a solid friendship through Do-san (Nam Joo-hyuk), Yong-san (Kim Do-wan), and Chul-san (Yu Su-bin). The university friends join Do-san’s company and become Samsan Tech together. Even their matching fashion sense is adorable and you have to watch the hilarious milk scene that shows the strength of their love for each other.

6) Guardian: The Lonely and Great God

Guardian: The Lonely and Great God gifts us with one of the most iconic K-drama bromances ever. Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) and Reaper (Lee Dong-wook) end up becoming housemates and never pass up an opportunity to take a dig at each other.
