YIM SI WAN and SEORINA Enter a Dangerous Game of Love in ‘Love in Disguise’

Prime Video has announced that ‘Love in Disguise’ will premiere exclusively on October 19 in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, bringing together romance, comedy and thrills in a story where hidden identities and unexpected feelings collide.

Starring YIM SI WAN and SEORINA, the Korean series follows Kang Jae-hee, a former special forces officer turned police detective, who goes undercover as a man to investigate and protect Yoon Yi-jun, the cold-blooded heir to a powerful conglomerate and a suspect in a murder case.

Based on the hit web novel Why Don’t You Know It’s a Girl?, which has surpassed 8.15 million views on Kakao Webtoon, the story begins when Jae-hee is assigned to investigate Yi-jun. After being ordered to back off, she refuses to give up and instead disguises herself as a man to join his security team.

As Jae-hee becomes Yi-jun’s personal bodyguard, she quietly searches for the truth while taking care of his every need. But when her true identity is eventually revealed, the investigation takes a more personal turn, forcing both characters to confront betrayal, vulnerability and feelings they were not prepared for.

YIM SI WAN plays Yoon Yi-jun, a third-generation chaebol heir who has grown accustomed to relying only on himself while dealing with family politics and public scrutiny. After becoming a murder suspect, he hires Jae-hee as his personal bodyguard. Her quiet strength and loyalty begin to challenge his distrust, while his growing attraction to his “male” bodyguard leaves him questioning his own identity.

SEORINA plays Kang Jae-hee, a former special forces operative who became a police detective. Known for her professional appearance and striking looks, Jae-hee is often mistaken for a man. As she investigates the murder case surrounding Yi-jun, she takes matters into her own hands by going undercover and entering his world as his bodyguard.
