Move to Heaven is an inspiring story based on a nonfiction essay Things Left Behind written by Kim Sae-byul who is also one of the first trauma cleaners in Korea. The released teaser trailer starts with Geu-ru and Sang-gu at the place of the deceased. “I am Han Geu-ru, a trauma cleaner. I’ll begin to help you with your final move.” With this declaration, the two go through the cherished possessions of the deceased.

As the space of someone who no longer exists slowly gets emptied out of the traces of a life lived, the yellow box of Move to Heaven gets carefully filled up. Geu-ru and Sang-gu deliver the last stories from the people who have passed away that are left behind, offering with the final words of farewell much comfort and empathy.
