Super Junior-83z Has More Than Love to Present to E.L.F at Their FANCON TOUR [1983] in Singapore

If you thought it was the last of Super Junior’s sub-units, SUPER JUNIOR-83z will prove that there is no limit to one’s career. With an impressive 21 years of experience under their belt, this number might be greater than some of their fans’ ages. Super Junior’s seventh sub-unit Super Junior-83z, made up the group’s two oldest members Leeteuk and Heechul, returned for the second time this year on 16 October for their “2026 SUPER JUNIOR-83z FANCON TOUR [1983] in SINGAPORE”.

E.L.F (the fandom name) were decked in mostly red and white and cheered fervently as the Friday night started with “Promise”. As the title track of the unit’s debut, this song is especially fitting for an opener. It was followed up with “SOLOVE”, the duo then hopped on to their greetings:

Leeteuk: We came to Singapore from 31 Dec 2025 to 1 Jan 2026. It feels good to be back and spend the last part of the year with you all. *moves to front of stage* Do I look even more handsome because you’re seeing me upclose?

Heechul: I trimmed my hair slightly. Do you prefer me in short or long hair? Long hair?! Okay.. I’ll grow it out. My stomach is protruding too..?

Their intro included the familiar variety sense they’re known for, effortlessly sending everyone into laughter.

The members proceeded to give E.L.F a treat of a sweet B-side “All My Heart”, all the way from 16 years ago! Although its inclusion may have come as a surprise, the song holds special significance as Leeteuk is one of its composers, making it a meaningful addition to their 83z tour.

With only two members carrying this tour, it was a good opportunity to have solo stages. Leader Leeteuk turned up the heat with “Bad Name”, even ending with an upper-body striptease and wasn’t shy to show what he’s got as a man in his early 40s! Heechul on the other hand, showcased trot-like vibes with “GODONAM”, complete with a bold red robe and even going down to interact with the audience.

It was halfway into the fancon, but the duo kept the energy high with games and challenges. The segment consisted of:
  • A challenge where they had to wear racer jackets in 40 seconds
  • Dance challenges like “Shanghai Romance” and “Chanel”
  • A ring toss game into each other’s bunny ear hairbands

After wearing the racer jackets, Leeteuk dropped a TMI, “F1 just concluded in Singapore. Siwon kept asking if I wanted to watch it with him, and said there was someone he knew here.” Heechul added, “As expected, Siwon knows everyone…”

Even though this was not a Super Show, Leeteuk and Heechul couldn’t miss out on Super Junior medleys. The first medley had “Rokkugo”, “Super Duper” and “Oppa, Oppa”, and the second one included title tracks “Bonamana”, “Mr. Simple”, “Sexy, Free & Single” and of course, “Sorry, Sorry”. Heechul also took a moment to wish fellow Super Junior member Donghae a happy belated birthday.

After the nostalgic medlies, he unit speaks to fans once again:

Leeteuk: People ask me “you’ve done this for 21 years, aren’t you tired?” I’m actually taking care of myself every day (to ensure enough stamina for performing), so I can continue doing this. Also, I really want to watch Yesung’s solo concert.

Heechul: I want to watch too.. because for our 83z concept, it leans more towards Leeteuk’s preferences. Personally, I like a band concept where I can focus on singing, like Yesung! But unlike us, Yesung doesn’t really do challenges right…?

They also hinted that Taipei may or may not be their last stop, getting fans ready for a potential encore.

Transitioning into a softer mood, both then performed the last two songs from their album, “More Than Love” and “ONSAEMIRO”. The latter featured a touching moment as the two faced each other and displayed their polished harmonies. Next was “Sweet Dreams” and “Sarang♥”, further flaunting their vocal chops.

As Super Junior members and entertainers, they were no stranger giving an E.L.F an upclose and personal experience. During  “Sarang♥”, Leeteuk and Heechul threw signed balls to fans and even walked in the audience area!

Drawing the night to a close with triple encores “Miracle”, “It’s You” and highly-requested “Super Girl”, Heechul joked in between that there were really no more encores because they had to catch their flight.

Throughout the 2-hour show, one could witness how they complemented each other with Leeteuk’s slightly mellower personality, and Heechul’s unrivalled humour. With a powerful combination of solid singing and dancing skills, loyalty from their fans and undisputed variety sense, the unit proves their long standing as seasoned artistes in the industry. It was also heartwarming for E.L.F as other members were mentioned frequently, demonstrating the group’s deep bond.

After all these years, Super Junior continues to surprise and bring joy to E.L.F. with their passion and love for music. Their incredible journey will forever hold a special place in K-pop history, inspiring many younger artistes to follow in their footsteps.
