In addition to Hyolyn’s appearance, fringe performances and activities are lined up to thrill and enthral all party-goers.

Emulating the vibes of music festivals all around the world, the space will be transformed with warm lighting, boho-chic décor, making it a colourful space for party-goers to hang out and catch the exciting acts lined up. Props such as caravan and beach chairs are set up to resemble the setting of Hyolyn’s #CaliTravelog music video and will be available for a fun group photo and selfie opportunities.

Yoodo Brings BTS Fans in Malaysia One Step Closer To Their Idols

Yoodo - Malaysia’s first truly customizable and 100% digital mobile service brought cheer to the BTS Malaysia Army through a dynamite collaboration that empowered them to pursue their passion for BTS. Around 178 Armies were brought to the much-anticipated screening of BTS’ latest documentary, which captured the boy-band’s journey throughout their 2019 Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour.

Yoodo’s collaboration with BTS Malaysia saw a giveaway of the documentary’s screening tickets to fans in the Klang Valley. The tickets were snapped up in a matter of minutes as fans were eager to watch the K-pop sensations on the big screen.

Asides from the documentary screening, Yoodo also delivered special ‘fan kits’ consisting of BTS-themed fanmade stickers and badges. Wrapped up in custom Yoodo K-themed packaging, the fan kits were distributed to a total of 6,800 ARMYs across Malaysia.

Yumi, a representative from BTS Malaysia said they were surprised when contacted by Yoodo for this collaboration. “It was a massive project and we were excited about the screening project but at the same time challenged, considering the team members weren’t all in the same country. After some discussion we decided on distributing goodies to other fans from different states as they weren’t able to catch the screening.

“Given the success of this collaboration with BTS Malaysia, we are keen on exploring more ways to excite K-pop fans in Malaysia. K-pop is a hugely successful scene with many talented groups, and we want to bring fans closer to their favourites,” Tuck Mun continued. “We welcome the K-pop community in the country to reach out and collaborate with us as Yoodo continues to find ways to deliver unique experiences for our users.”

This collaboration with BTS Malaysia is one of the many K-pop related activities Yoodo has created to connect with Malaysians and celebrate their passion. Among them were social media contests to give away tickets to the IU 2019 Love, Poem Tour as well as online concerts to shows such as the (G)I-DLE Online Concert 'I-Land: Who Am I' and Monsta X Live: From Seoul With Love virtual concert. Yoodo has also launched a weekly K-pop update video segment with local personality and K-pop fan, Hani Fadzil.

Mamonde Flower Day event was graced with the presence of the brand ambassador, Park Shin Hye on Friday (14 October). Within a week, both leading roles of drama 'Doctors' came to Malaysia to meet the local fans. Right after the male lead Kim Rae Won's fan-meeting, Park Shin Hye was up next. Park Shin Hye appeared in the stunning red dress to officially launch Mamonde Flower Day at 1 Utama Shopping Mall.

Arriving in Malaysia for the first time, Park Shin Hye greeted fans and exchanged flowers with Mamonde's management staff as a gesture of appreciation and love for welcoming her to the launch of Mamonde Flower Day. Park Shin Hye said 'I have received lots of messages from Malaysian fans via SNS and I heard there are many fans would like to see me in Malaysia, so today through Mamonde I'm glad to meet all of you here.' She has tried some of our local foods such as 'Satay' and 'Nasi Lemak'. Among all the foods Nasi Lemak is her favourite.

Mamonde Flower Day is celebrated to inspire us to show love and appreciation to those who love and admire with the gift of a flower. It is also a day dedicated to admiring the beauty around us, be it the beauty of people or the beauty of Mother Nature.

Themed around Mamonde’s flower of the month – the Hibiscus, the LG, Oval Concourse of 1 Utama Shopping Centre is transformed into a flower garden with Hibiscus as the main highlight amidst Mamonde’s other four key flowers i.e the Honeysuckle, Narcissus, Lotus and Camellia. The event was a fun-filled affair featuring a myriad of activities and flower attractions. Participants at the event were treated to game stations such as the Flower Dice and Cotton Candy, photobooth, 5 Key Flowers activity booths and a contest with a chance to win prizes. At the Mamonde Flower Garden, the public was given an opportunity to experience Mamonde’s Five Key Flowers while enjoying special sets and gifts with purchase.
