YG Republique's K Pub has introduced a series of goodies including a new K-tapas menu and sweetening the deals for tertiary students aged 18 and above to host their parties at K Pub and make some extra pocket money while having fun.

The latter was introduced in response to the large number of K Pop fans that YG Republique draws. K Pub is located next to 3Geori Butcher's BBQ eatery at TREC.

Diners can now dine on 3Geori Butcher's menu at K Pub and enjoy a 20% discount from 10pm everyday.

Add to that, K Pub's new spread of K Tapas also includes new portions made affordable for single diners. They include hearty selections such as Spicy Rice Cakes, Seasonal Salad [RM35], K-Fried Chicken, priced at RM25 each.

Larger portions are also available for sharing priced from RM40 each.

K Pub has also launched its brand new Happy Happy from 6pm – 10pm daily – and with the do-or-dare 8-second Soju Bomb Challenge.

TAEYANG returned to Malaysia after 2 years with his second solo world tour titled 'TAEYANG 2017 World Tour <WHITE NIGHT> in Kuala Lumpur.  Followed by G-DRAGON's visit back in September, another BIGBANG's member, TAEYANG also made a stop at Kuala Lumpur and performed his perfectly skilled stage which held on 15 October 2017 at Stadium Negara.
The charisma vocalist, TAEYANG performed a total of 18 songs that released since his debut. (ps: not including the encore stage) The classic hits songs include “Only Look at Me”, “I Need a Girl”, "Wedding Dress", “Eyes, Nose, Lips" and more.

TAEYANG burst onto the stage dressed in all white matching the theme 'White Night' and started off a high-energy set - “Ringa Linga", "Body" and "Super Star". V.I.Ps (BIG BANG's fandom's name) in the stadium was riding a collective wave of excitement and positive energy, waving the crown light stick and moving to the beat. 

TAEYANG then soothed the crowd with ballad songs - "Wake Me Up", "Only Look at Me" and "Wedding Dress". After the performances, TAEYANG took the time to introduce his latest album 'WHITE NIGHT' to the fans. He said he enjoyed the most while making this album which the album featured various genres, from ballad, EDM, funky disco to acoustic pop. Fans in Malaysia were indeed treated to an unforgettable show because TAEYANG performed ALL EIGHT songs of his latest album! 

Towards the end of the concert, TAEYANG serenaded the fans with his own rendition of 'LAST DANCE', playing the piano by himself. TAEYANG even said the happiest moment in his life is when he's with BIGBANG! We can't wait for BIGBANG to come back as five again!


ps:YG Entertainment has just announced that BIG BANG (excluding T.O.P) will be holding a surprise year-end concert in Seoul. Will you be there? 

Throughout the concert, TAEYANG was seen interacting with the fans at the rock zone. He tried his best to get close to the fans, talk to them, and he even took the flower crown from the fans and put it on his head! (Hence he has a flower crown on it while singing Eyes, Nose, Lips, check out the video at the end of the article)

TAEYANG ended the concert with his latest album's title track - 'DARLING'. Since TAEYANG said he will perform more encore songs depending on the fans' response, the stadium then filled up with the loudest 'encore! encore!' until TAEYANG came back on stage. TAEYANG must be really satisfied with Malaysian fans' enthusiasm as he performed a total of SIX encore songs!

The fans had their time jamming to "Super Star", "Good Boy", "Stay With Me", "Bang Bang Bang" and "Fantastic Baby" during the encore stage.

TAEYANG ended the night with one of his biggest hit, "Eyes, Nose, Lips". Language is not a barrier when it comes to good music, just look at how the audiences sang along the entire verses with TAEYANG :')

YG Investment, the investment arm under the YG group - South Korea’s leading music label and entertainment agency - has invested strategically in Gushcloud International, an influencer marketing and entertainment company, to build YG’s first Southeast Asian Headquarters based in Singapore.

“Southeast Asia has a population of more than 640 million people, with a fast-growing mobile and digital consumer penetration. Based on our data, Southeast Asia is a huge consumer of Korean pop culture. With this new investment into Gushcloud, we want to leverage upon the company’s physical presence in the 9 offices they have, to export more of YG’s entertainment assets and acts into Southeast Asia. YG hopes to create more digital cross-collaborations and partnerships with influencers, social media talents, entertainment companies and agencies, between Korea and Southeast Asia,” said Mr Charlie Cho, Head of YG Plus SEA (Singapore) Branch.

With this strategic investment, into Gushcloud, YG will set up it's Southeast Asian Headquarters (HQ) within the same premises of Gushcloud Headquarter office based in Singapore. This move will see YG working even closer with Gushcloud to establish a footprint in the growing Southeast Asian market, through their talents and artists, products and services.

Daereungwon Royal Tomb

There are lots of tombs in Gyeongju but the must-visit tomb is Daereungwon which holds the large tombs of kings and nobles of the Shilla Kingdom. Not only a collection tombs during the Silla period can be seen, the beautiful park in that area definitely worth a pose for pictures. Cheonmachong tomb , the only tomb that is open for public was closed down at the moment for maintenance so we were not able to view the burial goods that is recovered from the tomb. (ps: we were really curious about the tomb pattern ㅠㅠ)

Cheomseongdae Observatory

Not only locals swarm to this place but foreigners as well, Cheomseongdae Observatory is well-known as the "oldest astronomical observatory in Asia". You can check out a hall right next to the entrance which offers video information on how the observatory was built. (ps: English subtitle is available & No entrance fee is needed here)

Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond (Anapji)

Our top recommendation for night view, Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond. (ps: Wolji Pond also known as Anapji Pond) We were pretty shocked by the number of people queuing to buy the tickets at 9PM (ps: 1 hour before it closed) but what's worth the wait was the amazing night view. (ps: Entrance fees per adult - 2,000won (around RM7.40)) Wolji Pond was served as the garden for the Silla kings and queens to spent their leisure moments. Do visit during the night, as it gives a different view compared to the day visit.

Bulguksa Temple: Entrance fees per adult - 5,000won (around RM19) 1 hr 16mins bus ride from Hwangnamguan Hanok Village (No.10,11,700 bus from seo-ra-beol-ne street 서라벌네거리)
