Just weeks after the release of his chart-crushing album MAGICMAN 2, he has teamed up with Apple for the groundbreaking launch of his new single “Let Loose”. The cinematic music video, released alongside Apple’s unveiling of the iPhone 17 Pro, was creative directed by Jackson himself and co-directed with Ojun Kwon.

Filmed entirely on the iPhone 17 Pro, the video captures the intoxicating rush of the dancefloor, pairing Jackson’s boundary-pushing artistry with Apple’s state-of-the-art camera technology. With its 48MP Ultra Wide and 48MP Telephoto cameras featuring 8x optical zoom, the iPhone 17 Pro provided what Jackson calls “mind-blowing” results.

“Even during some regular full production shoots, there were times I didn’t get what I expected,” Jackson revealed. “So it was really mind-blowing to experience what the iPhone has achieved in this body of work.”

For Jackson, every shot in “Let Loose” was driven by intention. “Any zoom on visuals, whether slow or quick, push in or pull out, always has an intention of emotional delivery. In order to express emotions and narratives in visuals, the dynamics of speed and clearness is very important.”

The collaboration arrives at a pivotal moment in Jackson’s career. MAGICMAN 2 debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200, the highest debut ever by a Chinese solo artist, and he has just announced his massive MAGICMAN 2 WORLD TOUR. The tour kicks off October 3 in Thailand with back-to-back sold-out shows, followed by a run of instantly sold-out dates in Macau.
