KiiiKiii Turns Back Time With Nostalgic ‘SWEET SOUR’ Teasers

KiiiKiii is continuing the countdown to its comeback with a fresh set of teaser content for its upcoming third mini album WhyKiiiKiii, arriving on Aug. 10.

Released through the group's official social media channels and dedicated website, the new SWEET SOUR concept photos expand the album's story with a nostalgic online experience inspired by the mini homepage era. Titled SWEET SOUR <I Know What You Did This Summer...>, the webpage pairs concept photos with a story written by author Lee Seul Ah, creating a coming-of-age mood that blends memories, friendship and quiet emotions.

The story follows a narrator who steps away from everyday life with a group of friends, while gradually revealing complicated feelings toward one person who stands out among them. The subtle conversations and emotional tension add another layer to the album's growing narrative.

The concept photos are split into two different moods. In one, the members enjoy moments of freedom while exploring vintage shops and rainy streets in bold styling. In the other, they wear school uniforms, sharing smiles and wandering together as they capture the bittersweet emotions of youth.

Alongside the photos, KiiiKiii also released an instrumental version of SWEET SOUR, giving the project an extra nostalgic touch that recalls the background music once used on personal homepage profiles.

Fans also noticed that Lee Seul Ah, who previously contributed lyrics to songs including ONE OFF, Strawberry Cheesegame, Delulu and UNDERDOGS, appears to have reunited with the group for SWEET SOUR, adding to the anticipation surrounding the new release.

Set for release on Aug. 10, WhyKiiiKiii will feature six tracks presented as a 24-hour tour course built around the question, "Why KiiiKiii?" The title track, Pop Off Pop Off, promises another new chapter as the group continues to expand its musical world with each comeback.
