Korean heartthrob and fashion icon Lee Soo Hyuk made his long-awaited Malaysian debut on July 16 at the SAMSUNG GALAXY UNFOLDS ROADSHOW held at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The event, organized by Samsung Malaysia, was a grand celebration of innovation and star power, spotlighting the launch of the all-new Galaxy Z Series and Galaxy Watch8 Series.

From the moment doors opened, the atmosphere was electric. Thousands of fans from all over Malaysia packed every level of Pavilion KL, some arriving as early as morning just to catch a glimpse of the actor and model. It was Lee’s first appearance in the country, and judging by the turnout, fans had been waiting a long time for this moment.

The event kicked off with an immersive presentation of Samsung’s newest foldables and wearables. Mr. Charles Kim, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics, unveiled the Galaxy Z Series and Galaxy Watch Series on stage alongside Mr. Matthew Ng, Head of Mobile eXperience Business, Ms. Elaine Soh, Chief Marketing Officer, and Mr. Kevin Kim Taehoon, Business Director, Mobile eXperience Business. The product reveal was followed by a stunning runway presentation, with models in celestial-themed outfits showcasing the new Galaxy Z Series in true high-fashion flair.

The excitement reached its peak when Lee Soo Hyuk finally appeared on stage for a brief but unforgettable 10-minute appearance. Dressed in a sleek black suit and flashing his signature gaze, he was greeted with deafening cheers that echoed through the atrium. In his remarks, Lee expressed surprise at the overwhelming fan welcome at the airport the day before and thanked Samsung Malaysia for making his visit possible. He also graciously acknowledged his new Galaxy Z Fold7, gifted by Samsung.

Ever the crowd-pleaser, Lee attempted a Malay phrase for the crowd but cheekily admitted he forgot it in the moment—only to learn it on the spot and say “Saya cinta padamu,” melting the hearts of everyone in the room.

Although his time on stage was short, Lee made every second count.
