K-POP has spread worldwide beyond Asia through K-POP idols such as BTS, Blackpink, TWICE, ITZY, EXO, and PSY, who are actively working all over the world despite air routes being blocked due to COVID-19. K-POP received explosive attention and became the center of K-content. Accordingly, the Korea Tourism Organization will hold the ‘K-POP Avatar 1001’ challenge event until October 30, where any fan who is passionate about K-POP can enjoy and participate in K-POP. To participate in the challenge, participants can freely shoot short-form videos of various ways in which they enjoy K-POP, upload them to TikTok together with designated hashtags (#Dive_into_Kpop_in_Korea, #Kpop_Avatar_1001, etc.) and submit them on the event information page.
