South Korean indie rock musician Jo Hyu-il, better known as The Black Skirts, will be stopping by Singapore for the first time on 15 August 2019 for his ‘Thirsty’ Asia Tour.

Starting out in 2014 in three-member punk rock band Castel Prayon, Jo eventually became a one-man band after the band went their separate ways. His solo album 201 won “Best Modern Rock Album” in 2010. From then till 2018, some of his works Love Shine, Everything and Team Baby were nominated for several awards.

Jo also participated in soundtracks for dramas such as Another Miss Oh and Romance Is a Bonus Book.
