Mamonde's brand ambassador, Park Shin Hye returned to our shores last Friday (21 June) to officiate the launch of Mamonde Red Energy Recovery Serum held at Mid Valley Megamall. It's been 3 years since Park Shin Hye visited Malaysia but it was like yesterday when she first came here to greet the fans.

Park Shin Hye dressed in pink and appeared with her brand new short hairstyle which gave us a fresh and youthful look. The actress said this new hair cut is for her upcoming thriller movie "Call" which will be premiered in November and she's glad that the new look fits Mamonde as well.

During the event, Park Shin Hye also shared her beauty tips to the audience. She commented the Red Energy Recovery Serum is the perfect product for Malaysia's humid weather as it helps to keep skin hydrated. This premium product also helps to prevent skin aging and help to recover and revitalize exhausted skin.

When being asked about how she manages work life balance during busy schedule, she replied she often do Pilates and will go travel with family and friends during holiday to relax herself. She further explained her ways to relieve stress is to do exercise, listen to her favourite music, play with her cat at home and take part in activities that will relieve stress.

Before saying goodbye to the crowd, Park Shin Hye once again thanked fans for the constant support and expressed her wish to hold an fan meeting in Malaysia to spend more time with the fans next time.

Guests were invited to view the new brand vision under Creative Director Nicola Glass, and enjoyed mocktails and canapés, followed by in-store activities including personalizing their own luggage tag with the new embossing machine while listening to DJ Irama’s upbeat music.

A line-up of chic models showcasing the new collection was accompanied by a medley of modern hits performed by Malaysian singer-songwriter, Bil Musa. The new collection ushers in a fresh and eclectic approach to color across all categories, with new takes on colorblocking and new summer inspired prints.

BT21 is the animated characters created by BTS in 2017. BTS joined LINE Friends' Creators initiative, a project between the messaging app and global artists and designed this cute characters - Tata, Chimmy, Mang, RJ, Cooky, Koya, Shooky and Van. Each character represents a different member of BTS, except the gray and white space robot Van who's the guardian to protect BT21, meaning to represent ARMY.

Following their 1st showcase in Singapore Kallang Theatre in June 2017, PENTAGON is coming back to Singapore with their first full concert 2019 PENTAGON WORLD TOUR, titled “PRISM”, which will be held at 1800hrs on 2nd November 2019, at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre. 

All Universes in the region have reason to rejoice, as this is definitely a show not to be missed. Both performances for the 27th and 28th of April that were held at the Bluesquare iMarket Hall in Seoul were successfully completed upon showcasing the popularity of the group! The 9 members, comprising of JINHO, HUI, HONGSEOK, SHINWON, YEOONE, YANAN, YUTO, KINO and WOOSEOK will be performing for at least 16 shows in 15 cities worldwide, traveling to North and South America before returning to perform for their fans in Asia. The first line-up for Wkndfest Vol.1: K-POP Edition has been unveiled. Wkndfest, the up and coming event organiser announces iKON, Mamamoo, Momoland and G(I)-DLE will be featured in the festival taking place on 1st September at Axiata Arena.

tvN Asia’s latest original production, My Dream Trip, welcomes Korean boy group BTOB members Peniel Shin and Im Hyunsik to Hong Kong, where exciting adventures await. Along with the producers of My Dream Trip, the duo shortlisted two lucky fans from an online recruitment in April, co-hosted by tvN Asia and the show’s media partner, Viu, to join them in Asia’s world city, embarking on an unforgettable mission-packed journey together.

The production crew concluded shooting for My Dream Trip in early May. The K-pop duo and their travel buddies were introduced to some of the latest hotspots in Hong Kong, where they explored the art, history and culture of the city; dined at some of the hippest restaurants in town; and walked through Hong Kong’s back garden in the New Territories.

To make the trip more challenging, the four were given only minimal funds at the beginning of the trip. They had to earn money for transportation, meals and even eating utensils by completing missions. Watch the show to find out whether they had to travel around on foot and eat with their bare hands.

In My Dream Trip, Peniel, Hyunsik and their travel buddies discovered a beautiful, youthful and energetic Hong Kong. They meandered through the west part of the Hong Kong Island, which has now been turned into an arty district – ARTLANE – where they admired colourful murals and street art, which are popular with both locals and tourists as sources of inspiration. They also put on the traditional costumes at Hong Kong’s newly opened Xiqu Centre in the West Kowloon Cultural District, a hub designed for the promotion of traditional Chinese theatre and the UNESCO-listed Cantonese opera.

Among the other fascinating locations they visited was Tai Kwun, which is a heritage site comprising the former Central Police Station, Central Magistracy and Victoria Prison, and has been conserved, revitalized and transformed into the Centre for Heritage and Arts. For tourists with a tight itinerary, like the My Dream Trip crew, Tai Kwun is the perfect stop, where they can enjoy Hong Kong’s heritage, contemporary art and leisure elements all in one stop.
