Lee Je Hoon Marks Two Decades With Fans at “Our 20th Moment” in Kuala Lumpur
Monday, April 13, 2026Organised by Shanghai SanYanSiYu Cultural Creativity and co-organised by TopGallant Show, the fan meeting picked up from where his September 2024 “JEHOON’s Favorite” Asia tour left off, but this time with a deeper sense of reflection and gratitude.
From the start, Lee Je Hoon set a warm tone, greeting fans with a cheerful “Selamat Hari Raya” that immediately drew loud cheers. The atmosphere felt relaxed and intimate, allowing his personality to shine through in every segment.
Music played a key role throughout the evening. He performed “Coffee With Me” and “A Kind of Confession,” delivering gentle, acoustic-style stages that highlighted a softer side of him. Each song felt personal, almost like a conversation with the audience. He closed the night with “Beautiful,” a fitting final track that wrapped the evening in a calm and emotional glow.
Between performances, the fan meeting leaned into playful interaction. One of the biggest highlights came during a Malaysian food challenge, where Lee Je Hoon took on a blindfold guessing game. From nasi lemak to char kway teow, roti canai, curry puff, teh ais, and even Super Ring, he gamely tried each item, drawing laughter with his reactions and guesses. By the end, he shared that nasi lemak and chicken rice had become his favorites.
The crowd kept the energy lively throughout, especially with the nickname “Abang Teksi” echoing around the venue, a nod to his iconic role in Taxi Driver. The playful chants added a uniquely Malaysian touch to the night, making it feel even more special.
There were plenty of lighthearted moments as well. When a fan shouted, “Oppa, will you marry me?”, Lee Je Hoon paused, smiled, and replied, “Let’s get married,” sending the audience into cheers. Lucky fans also had the chance to take selfies with him, creating memories that will last long after the night ended.
Still, the evening was not without its reflective side. Speaking about his journey, Lee Je Hoon shared that he could hardly believe it had already been 20 years since his debut. He credited his fans for being the reason he continues to stand on stage, a sentiment that resonated deeply with the audience.
As the night drew to a close, he expressed his hope to one day film a project in Malaysia, and even return simply to travel and enjoy the country again. He also left fans with a gentle reminder to stay healthy, a simple message that carried warmth and sincerity.
More than just a fan meeting, Our 20th Moment felt like a shared celebration of time, growth, and connection. In Kuala Lumpur, Lee Je Hoon did not just look back on his journey, he shared it with the people who helped shape it.
