Kang Daniel's "First Parade" concert in Malaysia was an unforgettable experience for fans of the K-Pop star. Held on 14 January at Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands, the concert was a highly anticipated event for Danity, exceeding all expectations.

Thousands of fans turned up at SEEN Festival in Kuala Lumpur 2023 at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil to vibe with the line up of k-pop groups including NCT DREAM, WayV, KARD and ALICE, alongside with Malaysia’s pop girl group DOLLA. Fans were all dressed to the nines and lined up hours before the show started to see their favourite groups. The show started at 6pm, with DOLLA as the opening act. DOLLA then performed their hit songs, ‘Impikan’, ‘BAD’ and ‘Dolla Make You Wanna’. Not only that, the group also dropped a teaser of their upcoming single ‘Look At This’ which will be released on 17th February 2023.

Moving on to the first k-pop group to perform, ALICE, made their first debut in Malaysia with their opening song, ‘Jackpot’. Dressed in all-white, they nailed their performance flawlessly with their honey-like vocals and synchronized dance moves. The members were beaming with such happiness as they got to meet their Malaysian fans for the first time as well. The group then continued to perform their other hit songs including,’No Big Deal’, ‘Power of Love’, ‘Summer Dream’ and “DANCE ON’.

The fans then soared loudly as KARD went on the stage and performed their opening songs, ‘Ring The Alarm’ and ‘Oh NaNa’. Although it’s their third time visiting Malaysia, they still manage to dominate the whole stadium with their powerful stage presence. One of the members, J.Seph also mentioned that he’s happy to be back and to be able to meet the fans and perform on the stage again after his mandatory national service. KARD then continued to perform their hit songs, ‘Whip’, ‘Good Love’, ‘BOMB BOMB’ and ‘Dumb Litty’.

The whole stadium turned into a brighter green ocean as WayV appeared on the stage. The fans were cheering loudly and happily when WayV performed their first two songs, ‘Love Talk’ and ‘Diamonds Only’. Then the group moved to the T-stage to interact and see the fans up close whilst performing their other songs ‘Broken Love’ and ‘Let Me Love U’. Although it was short but sweet, the members were happy to be performing in Malaysia for the first time ever since their debut and hopefully to visit again soon! The group then ended their stage with their recent release ‘Phantom’.

Last but not least, NCT DREAM finally made their long-awaited performance with their opening hit song ‘Hot Sauce’. The fans’ cheers were even louder this time as the members showed off their dance moves and powerful live vocals. The group then greeted the fans at the T-stage and performed their other songs including ‘Beatbox’ and ‘Glitch Mode’. During their ment, the members also mentioned about coming back to Malaysia with other two members (Mark & Haechan) for their own full-concert in KL. (Hopefully this will come true!)

Before their last song, the members and fans also sang happy early birthday to Jisung’s upcoming birthday which falls on February 5th. NCT Dream ended the stage and bid their goodbyes with their recent release hit, which was ‘Candy’. The Grand Wave K-pop Music Festival finally happened last weekend with the highly anticipated line-up at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach. The festival was celebrated and partied by the warmest welcome and support from fans for each artiste! The artiste tease Malaysian fans for the crowd understanding of Korean, checking if they are really in Malaysia and are fans attending Malaysian! (well, Korean language is like a love language to show our support) Opening the festival was open by power vocal Park Bom of 2NE1 with 'Fire' that turn the cooling after rain weather hot! BLACKJACKs sweet treat continues with Park Bom performing her greatest hits. Park Bom sang '4:44' and 'Don't Cry' - another hit from 2NE1 that felt like a little trip down memory lane which we will always remember. Park Bom got off the stage to be closer to fans while singing 'You and I'. Park Bom was back on stage with 'Shamful' and ending with 'Do Re Mi Fa Sol'.

Next, GOT7 Youngjae appeared on stage opening with Vibin'. Malaysian Ahgase watched Youngjae as a solo artiste here for the very first time. Although it was night festival, Youngjae sure did bring sunshineine to the audience. His smile and jovial personality shone through all his stages. He performed Sugar which got our legs moving followed by Tasty which he removed his jacket! Youngjae had the sweetest smile and interaction also checking if he was really in Malaysia when fans could understand him without the translator.

BI learn some Bahasa and express his love with 'Saya Cinta Kamu?' and mentioned he would love to come back to Malaysia again with his upcoming tour! (We are all waiting). The finale and closing artiste of the night was Girls Generation Hyoyeon (DJ Hyo) that lit the audience pink and her charisma. Her 1 hour set was filled with nostalgic memories of songs that majority of the audience grew up listening like 'Conga' and current trending songs like 'As It Was'. As she spins and remix the songs as DJ, we got singer-dancer HYO performing 'Dessert' and 'Deep'! Hyoyeon interacted with audience in Korean, English and Mandarin! It was a cute moment when the music suddenly stopped for photo time! She requested the lights to be switch on for better photo lighting in Mandarin. Her cue for audience was 'SoShi (소시)' and Hyoyeon. Just before leaving the stage ending the night Hyoyeon thanked the fans in English and Mandarin and mentioned in Mandarin 以后见面吧，今天热死了 (yi hou jian mian ba, jin tian re si le) (Translation: See you night time, it's been a really hot day today) It was indeed an incredible night with amazing artiste line up!
