Following rave reviews at a public screening at Busan International Film Festival’s On Screen program, the highly anticipated Korean thriller Connect will debut all six episodes globally on December 7 only on Disney+ Hotstar. An Original series available exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar, Connect stars Jung Haein as Ha Dongsoo - a new type of immortal human known as ‘Connect’, who is kidnapped by a gang of organ harvesters who are determined to take his eyes. After suddenly waking up on an operating table part way through the surgery, Dongsoo is able to escape with one eye remaining, and later discovers that he can still see out of his missing eye, which is now being used by a serial killer who has been terrorizing the residents of Seoul. Determined to get back what was taken, Dongsoo will pursue the killer, taking whatever steps are necessary to make himself whole again. MOKKOJI KOREA Hallyu Lifestyle Festival Attracted More Than 27,000 Attendees On November 12 and 13, fans of Hallyu culture gathered in Kuala Lumpur to learn more about the Korean lifestyle and culture. Fans also had opportunity to enjoy live performances by some of the top-tier K-Pop artists including Moonbin & Sanha, Jeon Somi and BLANK2Y. Over the past two days, MITEC had been transformed into a hub for Hallyu-enthusiasts having an immense passion for the Korean cultures, ranging from Korean dramas, webtoons to Korean cuisine, Hangeul, and lifestyle. The two-day exhibition was held under the partnership between The Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE) and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the Republic of Korea. “The MOKKOJI Korea Festival displays the variety of Korean lifestyles. It gives us great pleasure to host MOKKOJI Korea in Kuala Lumpur this year. Korea is becoming more appealing to many Malaysians as people are taking courses to learn about the Korean language, enjoying K-Pop music, wishing to attend Korean universities. With that, more exciting events and upcoming projects are in store for us, and we are confident that our partnership with Malaysia will only grow stronger from here,” said Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE). During the two-day exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to sample some of the most well-known, mouth-watering and flavourful Korean dishes such as gimbap, japchae, tteokbokki, and bulgogi. Visitors also had the opportunity to transform into their favourite movies or webtoons’ character by adorning its signature costume and taking pictures to share with their friends. Besides that, visitors got a better taste of the traditional Korean culture through many folk performances and games. At the mini stage, attendees participated in learning how to make the famous Korean side dish - Kimchi with K-Food Cooking Class, or joined a Korean make-up style tutorial instructed by their in-house makeup artist. On the last day, thousands of participants came to support their favourite K-Pop icons Moonbin & Sanha, Jeon Somi, and BLANK2Y as they arrived in Kuala Lumpur for the MOKKOJI concert. Despite the hall’s capacity of up to 3,000 seats only, more than 15,000 participants had shown their interest and support for the MOKKOJI concert as excited fans came to see their favourite artists performing live.

Global Extraordinary Attorney Woo star, Park Eun Bin visited Singapore for her first fanmeeting EUNBIN NOTE: BINKAN. The fanmeeting was held at Capitol Theatre on 11 November 2022. The event was certainly an extremely memorable one for her fans.

Park Eunbin opened the fanmeeting with a refreshing cover of Red Velvet Joy’s song remake ‘Hello’! The reason behind her song choice was that ‘Hello’ was a song that she listened a lot to during her school days and she wanted to greet Singapore fans ‘Hello’! 

Looking into the meaning of her fanmeeting name BINKAN, Park Eunbin shared that the Bin from Binkan and the Bin from her name, Eunbin, refers to shining space. By naming the fanmeeting BINKAN, she hopes that fans will light up the space with sparklingly Eunbin! 

The actress also delightful went on to share how she spent here time in Singapore.

"I'm always curious from which drama and character did they decided to support me from." the actress chimed. One response was the actress' irresistible smile! When shared that a fan has been supporting the actress since her drama from 2007, "The Legend", the sweet 30-year old actress stood up from her seat to personally extended her gratitude to her for growing up together with her!

Another question, was to only watch videos or only listen to music. Park Eunbin voiced that this was a breeze and did not hesitate any second to choose to only listen to music! "Music is my Life!" exclaimed the actress.

It was gift-making time when the actress showcased her artistic talent by designing tote bags for her fans! Her adorable designs included a rabbit, the animal that resembles her the most, two ducklings which she affirmed were friends, and lastly a whale design, the icon of her global hit drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo!

Next, as Park Eunbin went for an outfit switch, a VCR showed the actress having a witty interview with her respective characters from the dramas Hot Stove League, Hello My Twenties, The King’s Affection and Do you like the Brahms. Following that, the all-rounder actress went back on stage with the song ‘Blue Night of Jeju Island’.

The atmosphere was toned down when Park Eunbin sat down and shared her invaluable experiences and behind stories with her roles. We watched the iconic scenes from her hit dramas on the screen in awe and respect for the Acting Genius!

The experienced actress also revealed that she is able to hear the voices of her characters upon reading the script of the drama and she changes her voice according to different tones, from high tones, to her normal voice tone and even lower range tones.

To return the love, fans prepared a meaningful fan project for the actresses and her reaction was absolutely priceless!

Jae Park (aka eaJ) first gained attention in South Korea as one of the final six contestants in the first season of the singing competition television series “K-pop Star”.
