Theme “Free your inner character” SkinS Festival is about the freedom to choose the character you want to be. Music & Graphic Novels are vital pillars of popular culture and also recognized as a form of art that can be consumed on its own and in combination with other medium such as film or games. The soundtrack sets the mood for the scene as audience cognitively recognize and anticipate what is going to happen next based on the perfect composition of the right song.

With SkinS Festival, it is the first of its kind of storytelling experiential event and it might even be mind boggling to believe that music can be illustrated in a graphic novel format, and interact with real life at the festival. SkinS Festival worked together with its official skincare sponsor Skincalories to tell the story about how music heals Magda and allows for her to explore what character in life she wants to be, since “All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players”

At SkinS Festival, we see Magda begin her heroes’ journey as she gets inspired by the Kpop / Hip Hop music performed by Giant Pink, Kevin Woo & Jannine Weigel to pursue a career in the music industry.

Kevin Woo is a Korean-American singer, actor, TV host, and Influencer, currently based in South Korea and Japan. He is most notably recognized fom the K-Pop idol group U-KISS, which debuted in 2008. For over a decade, Kevin actively promoted chart-topping albums, led successful tours around the world in over 30 countries, starred in musicals and more. In 2017, Kevin made his mark as a solo artist, actively touring internationally, and sharing his passion of music and artistry.

Giant Pink is a rising South Korean rapper, currently a member of hip-hop label AIKM under SM Entertainment and was the winner of hip-hop competition show Unpretty Rapstar 3.

19-year-old Thai-German singer-songwriter Jannine Weigel is a Youtuber and actress who has amassed over 8 million social media followers. She is currently under Universal Music Singapore.

7-member rookie boy group, OnlyOneOf recently released their single EP 'line sun goodness' and in celebration to the release, the group will be holding their first international tour in Malaysia. 'Hit The Line Tour in Malaysia 2019' is set to held in various cities in Malaysia from 22 to 24 November. Fans will also be able to connect with the group in person through meet-and-greet sessions.

Of their upcoming trip to Malaysia, Rie says, “We’re really excited about this tour because it will allow us to perform for our international fans, see their faces, and get to know each of them as individuals! We are usually physically so far apart, we can’t wait to finally see them in person.” Love continues, “It’s our first time performing outside of Korea, too, so it will be even more special for us to meet our Malaysian fans. We’re super excited!”

OnlyOneOf consists of Nine (vocalist, beatmaker, maknae), Mill (rapper), Rie (vocalist, dancer), JunJi (vocalist, dancer), Love (leader, main vocalist), YooJung (dancer) and KB (rapper, producer). About OnlyOneOf's Latest EP 'line sun goodness'

The EP is produced by some of the most respected creatives in the business, including Candace Sosa (BTS) and BADD (LOONA), together with songwriting and production input from members of the group. OnlyOneOf describes their sound as Alternative R&B with intimate vocals and sensual lyrics that explore the ambiguities of youth, caught in a world between temptation and personal growth. They are the newest project from Jaden Jeong, the visionary creative director behind girl group sensation LOONA.

The EP’s lead single, “sage,” builds on the themes of OnlyOneOf’s debut track, “savanna,” which explored the ache of youthful longing and the conflict of temptation. It was composed by Candace Sosa, the writer behind BTS tracks "Euphoria," "Magic Shop," "I’m Fine," and "Mikrokosmos," and by Jaden Jeong, OnlyOneOf's creative director.

Speaking on the release of the EP, lead vocalist Love says “Each and every member of our group worked very hard on this EP. To grow as artists and performers while staying true to ourselves as OnlyOneOf. We enjoy being deeply involved in our music and hope fans notice our efforts.”

The group has also revealed a music video for the focus track, “sage”. The executive producer for this video, Woojae Kim, also worked on their previous video for “savanna,” which has now amassed over 10 million views on YouTube. The video for “sage” revisits key imagery of “savanna” while expanding OnlyOneOf’s unique sound and providing an exciting glimpse into the future of the world of OnlyOneOf.
