Netflix teases the highly anticipated Kingdom: Ashin of the North, a special episode that will expand the horizons of the Kingdom series, with a first look at Ashin. The special episode will reveal the origins of the resurrection plant that triggered the avalanche of tragic events that swept through Joseon and the woman abandoned by all — Ashin.

Kingdom: Ashin of the North will be directed by Kim Seong-hun, who directed and oversaw the production of the first season of Kingdom. Writer Kim Eun-hee, who scripted the two seasons, also returned to pen an epic story of Kingdom: Ashin of the North. Gianna Jun who made a striking appearance as the adult Ashin at the end of Season 2, returns to appease the viewers clamoring for more of her intriguing character.

The wait is over! Netflix’s first ever K-sitcom, ‘So Not Worth It’ will be available on 18 June 2021! The 12-episode sitcom, starring Park Se-wan, Shin Hyeon-seung, Choi Young-Jae, Minnie of (G)-IDLE, Han Hyun-min. Joakim Soresen, Carson Allen and Terris Brown, ‘So Not Worth It’ will depict the chaotic, bittersweet life of college students living in an international dorm.

Present at the virtual press conference today was Park Se-wan, Shin Hyeon-seung, Choi Young-Jae, Han Hyun-min. Joakim Soresen, Carson Allen and Terris Brown,  together with Directors Kwon Ik-Joon and Kim Jung-Sik. Although Minnie was not able to attend the press conference physically as she is in Thailand, she sent videos over prior to the event! The cast and directors of ‘So Not Worth It’ shared about what viewers can expect for the K-sitcom ahead of its release.

Upcoming Netflix series Nevertheless is set to heat up your weekends with a flirty romance. Based on a popular webtoon of the same name and starring rising actors Song Kang of Sweet Home and Han So-hee of The World of the Married, Nevertheless is a heart-fluttering romance you don’t want to miss out on.

With her first love ending disastrously, Yu Na-bi (Han So-hee) doesn’t believe in love but still wants to date. On the other hand, Park Jae-eon (Song Kang) enjoys flirting with many women but doesn’t want to date exclusively. Despite their differences, the young art students find themselves attracted to each other and embark on a sweet and sexy romance.

While their romance is enticing, the two are aware that nothing good may come from it. Nevertheless, they can’t help being drawn to each other.

2) Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) S2 — 12 June

The second season of Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) will be back with more scandals and drama than before! Three colleagues working on a radio show are each dealing with husbands who are having affairs. While their ages and circumstances are different, it’s clear that their marriages will never be the same. New revelations and secret ties will provide tantalising entertainment as we see the characters deal with the aftermath. Definitely check it out if you enjoy high drama.

3) Hospital Playlist S2 — 17 June

If you prefer a more down-to-earth drama, the second season of Hospital Playlist is sure to satisfy. The fun series follows a group of five doctors who have been friends for 20 years. You can expect a lot of funny and heartwarming stories as we see what goes on in their lives inside and outside of the hospital they work at. There’s also a bit of romance for each of the friends, and it’ll be exciting to see how each of their relationships has progressed since the first season.

4) So Not Worth It — 18 June

If you prefer your romance in bite-sized pieces to savour and enjoy, then So Not Worth It will be the perfect watch. The sitcom focuses on the lives of students living in an international dormitory at a university. You can learn a little about what university life looks like in Korea and enjoy the amusing hijinks. The students navigate becoming an adult, youthful love, and friendship. With a cast full of rising actors, K-pop stars, and more, So Not Worth It will be a fun and breezy watch.

5) Nevertheless — 20 June

Based on a popular webtoon, Nevertheless shows a modern-day romance between university students Na-bi (Han So-hee) and Jae-eon (Song Kang). They’ve been hurt in the past which makes them weary of love, but there’s something that draws the pair to each other. Na-bi doesn’t trust love, but does want to date. On the other hand, Jae-eon finds dating bothersome but enjoys flirting. They have their differences when it comes to love, nevertheless, will they be able to become open to love with each other?
