Singer-songwriter YOUNHA has returned with the 7th full-length album, GROWTH THEORY, after almost three years since the release of her sixth album, END THEORY. This album is not only the second part of the THEORY album trilogy but also released as part of her 20th debut anniversary promotions and celebration.

Continuing the narrative in END THEORY, GROWTH THEORY tells the meaning of growth that a girl learns by connecting with various subjects along her mighty journey. The first five tracks of the album, “맹그로브 (Mangrove tree),” “죽음의 나선 (Antmill),” “케이프 혼 (Attention!),” “은화 (Silvering),” and “로켓방정식의 저주 (Curse for the rocket formula),” describe the fear of a mysterious world and the courage to break that fear.

The sixth and title track of the album, “태양물고기 (Sunfish),” is a rock track that conveys the message that it is correct to walk on the path you truly believe in, no matter what others think or say. Then the last four tracks, “코리올리 힘 (Coriolis force),” “라이프리뷰 (Life review),” “구름의 그림자 (Part of cloud),” and “새녘바람 (East wind),” narrate the discovery of dynamic emotions, experiences, and courage at the end of the journey as a new person. 

Throughout the album, multiple instruments such as electric guitar, accordion, Irish whistle, Janggu (Korean drums), and Kkwaenggwari (Korean small cymbals) were incorporated to accentuate unique sounds and vibes in each track. YOUNHA participated in the composition and lyrics of all ten tracks in the album.

JEON SOMI will return for the first time in a year since GAME PLAN was released which included "Fast Forward" and the tecktonik dance craze that went viral. "Ice Cream" is bright and colorful and has a playful, fun dance that is sure to be popular throughout this summer. There is also a very special surprise appearance in the music video by none other than Park Seo-joon, one of Korea's top actors, known for his roles in The Marvels and Itaewon Class.

The flirtatious new single is MEMI’s first release of 2024, coming after her first EP M3MI, which was released in December 2023. Earlier this year, MEMI also had a fruitful year, performing her first show in the United States this March at SXSW 2024 as part of JADED’s “FRIENDS:FOREVER” showcase. She will next be playing at the Incheon Pentaport Music Festival this August in South Korea, as well as feature in other major festivals around Asia in the later half of 2024.

MEMI is a singer-songwriter based in Seoul, South Korea, who is known for her previous single releases such as ‘Guitar Pick’ and ‘Thin Lips Club’, as well as her role as guitarist on Korean indie rock band 24HOURS.

Seoul-based band HYUKOH and Taipei-based band Sunset Rollercoaster have joined forces for the collaborative album 'AAA', which is out now via DOOROODOOROO ARTIST COMPANY and Sunset Music Productions Co. Ltd.

A casual chat in 2020 seemingly foretold the collaboration between the Seoul-based and Taipei-based bands. It led to musical collaborations like Sunset Rollercoaster’s remake version of “Help” from HYUKOH’s album, 'through love', and OHHYUK’s feature on the Sunset Rollercoaster track “Candlelight” from their album, 'Soft Storm'. When Sunset Rollercoaster visited Seoul for a headline show in March 2023, the audience spotted HYUKOH members at the show, which took the anticipation of a collaboration of the two bands to another level. After they discovered their chemistry in the studio, the two bands decided to create a full-length project together, the result being 'AAA'.
