Kim Woo-bin and Suzy are back together on screen in Genie, Make a Wish, a playful yet high-stakes fantasy romantic comedy set to premiere worldwide on Netflix on October 3.

The series follows Genie (Kim Woo-bin), a devilish trickster freed after a thousand years who has always thrived on luring humans into corruption through their own desires. His latest master, however, is Ka-young (Suzy), a stoic woman unmoved by emotions. Instead of making wishes, she throws down a startling bet: if Genie’s claim that all humans are destined to turn corrupt proves true, she will spend all her wishes and surrender her life.

Their bizarre pact sparks a whirlwind of comedic clashes and unexpected intimacy. From rooftop shoves and sharp insults to a sweeping kiss and a waltz suspended in time, Genie and Ka-young’s uneasy partnership evolves into a connection that neither anticipated. Questions rise as the story unfolds. Why does Ka-young, once frozen to emotion, begin to cry? What triggers Genie’s fury? And what happens when the lamp falls into someone else’s hands?

The drama marks a highly anticipated reunion for two of Korea’s most beloved rom-com stars and brings together a vibrant ensemble cast featuring Ahn Eun-jin, Noh Sang-hyun, Ko Kyu-phil and Lee Zoo-young.
