MAMAMOO Bring the Vocals, the Chaos and the Love to Kuala Lumpur
Three years after their last visit to Malaysia for MYCON in 2023, MAMAMOO returned to Kuala Lumpur on 10 October for MAMAMOO 2026 WORLD TOUR [4WARD] in KUALA LUMPUR, and Malaysian MOOMOOs made sure the wait was worth it. From powerhouse vocals and playful banter to a setlist packed with fan favourites, the quartet turned UNIFI Arena into one giant celebration of everything that makes MAMAMOO, MAMAMOO.
The group kicked off the night with their debut song, “Mr. Ambiguous”, immediately sending the crowd into a frenzy. The energy continued with “Destiny” before MAMAMOO reminded everyone why they are known as a group you can believe in and listen to, delivering the kind of live vocals that need no introduction. “Egotistic (You Do It)” brought its signature intensity, while “Piano Man” transformed the arena into their own jazz club, complete with the group's irresistible charm.
When “Decalcomanie” came on, MOOMOOs sang along with every ounce of enthusiasm they had. Watching the members look visibly pleased and proud as the audience joined in made the moment even sweeter. Then came “Starry Night”, another showcase of the vocal strength that has earned MAMAMOO their reputation as one of K-pop's most reliable live acts.
The production, lighting and costumes gave each performance its own character, but the real highlight was the group's vocals. From the first song to the last, the members kept their microphones on and delivered an impressive live performance that made the entire concert feel even more satisfying.
During the ment, the girls shared how happy they were to return to Malaysia after three years, especially to perform at the country's largest indoor stadium. Seeing how much they have grown since their last visit made the reunion feel even more meaningful. MAMAMOO have continued to build their legacy through their music and performances, and the Kuala Lumpur show was another reminder that they are only getting bigger.

Of course, a MAMAMOO concert would not be complete without their signature humour. The members brought a playful twist to “Taller Than You (1cm of Pride)” and “Sleep in the Car (Sleep or Something)”, reinterpreting the songs in a trot style. Dressed in shiny performance outfits, they made the trot version of “Taller Than You” especially fun to watch.
The fun continued with a non-stop medley of “Uncle Joke”, “Waggy (Is That Him?)”, “NEW YORK”, “Freakin Shoes” and “Baton Touch”, keeping the audience on their feet. During another interaction, the members asked Malaysian MOOMOOs to teach them local slang. When fans introduced them to “67”, the girls jokingly admitted they were too old to understand it, each coming up with their own interpretation. It was the kind of silly, spontaneous exchange that made the night feel less like a formal concert and more like a reunion with friends.
The solo stages then gave each member room to show off her own musical identity. Hwasa took the stage with “So Cute”, bringing her unmistakable confidence to the front of the stage while delivering a commanding performance. Wheein performed “The Symphony of Fxxkboys”, playfully changing the title to “The Symphony of Bad Boys”, a version that fans familiar with her live broadcasts would recognise. Moonbyul brought a fierce presence and strong vocals to “Hertz”, while Solar delivered the powerhouse vocals of “Blues”. Four distinct performances, four different styles, and a reminder of just how much each member brings to the group.
The momentum picked up again with “4 Flowers”, “AYA” and “HIP”. When “HIP” arrived, the message was clear: why worry about other people's opinions when you can simply be yourself? The crowd and MAMAMOO practically spat the lyrics together, turning the song into a shared declaration of confidence.
“Dingga” followed, with its EDM version sending the arena into another level of excitement as fans waved their MOOMOO Bong lightsticks in the air. “Gogobebe” and “Wind Flower” continued the run of fan favourites, keeping the audience engaged from start to finish.
The night became even more touching when a surprise video prepared by Malaysian MOOMOOs appeared on screen. The members watched the adorable animated fan tribute, clearly giving it their attention, while the specially prepared cakes added another personal touch to the celebration. Malaysian MOOMOOs truly came prepared, showing their love through the thoughtful details they had put together for the group.
The final stretch featured “Non is Something”, “Um Oh Ah Yeh” and “ILLELLA”, bringing the concert to a close with the same energy that had carried the night from the opening notes of “Mr. Ambiguous”.
For the encore, MAMAMOO surprised fans by appearing offstage before launching into “You're the Best”. The moment brought another wave of cheers, with the song feeling especially fitting for the connection between the group and their Malaysian fans. Hwasa also showed her sweet side by placing a black scarf around her head in a gesture that embraced Malaysian Muslim culture, earning another wave of affection from the crowd.
What made the Kuala Lumpur stop so satisfying was not just the setlist, which moved between newer songs, beloved hits and individual solo stages, but the effort behind the entire performance. MAMAMOO delivered live vocals throughout the show, backed by a crowd that sang, cheered and danced along from beginning to end. In a concert landscape where a full open-mic performance can feel increasingly rare, the quartet made a strong case for why their live reputation continues to hold up.
Three years after MYCON, MAMAMOO returned to Malaysia with a show that celebrated their growth without losing the humour, confidence and vocal power that fans have loved from the start. The members gave MOOMOOs plenty to sing along to, plenty to laugh about and plenty of moments to remember.

MAMAMOO may have come to Kuala Lumpur for [4WARD], but the message was unmistakable: they are still HIP, still full of personality, and still a group worth believing in and listening to.
