NCT 127 slips into style in 'SLIPSTREAM' series

PUMA shares behind-the-scene looks from the ‘SLIPSTREAM’ campaign unveiling a new side of NCT 127 as PUMA’s APAC ambassador

The PUMA ‘SLIPSTREAM’ was released in 1987 as a sneaker for basketball players aiming for excellence. This year, SLIPSTREAM was re-released as a new product with added street sensibilities while retaining its 80s design heritage. It features a clean silhouette, bold midsole design, and updated overlay, which adds a modern feel.
The star of the campaign, the PUMA Slipstream in Puma White-Puma Black is seen on NCT 127 members for the PUMA Slipstream campaign. As part of the exciting launch, PUMA is gifting consumers an exclusive PUMA x NCT 127 photocard set* with every purchase of the Slipstream. 

Additionally, Global sports brand PUMA released behind-the-scene looks from the ‘SLIPSTREAM’ campaign with NCT 127. The ‘SLIPSTREAM’ campaign presented by PUMA and NCT 127 is composed of styles and themes that represent the retro vibes of the 80s. It goes for a vintage street concept, reproducing the graffiti, basketball, old cars, and street shops that recall the moods of that time, with the members of NCT 127 showing off their unique characteristics.
NCT 127 was selected as PUMA’s APAC (Asia Pacific) ambassador last month and has been participating in ambassadorial activities since the release of the ‘SLIPSTREAM’ campaign. Through the behind-the-scene looks, fans can enjoy the various styles of NCT 127 members wearing sporty items such as the brand’s iconic T7 tracksuits, sweatshirts, and the PUMA Slipstream in Puma White-Puma Black. 

NCT 127, who are known to be sports enthusiasts, are displayed with bikes, basketballs, and other items that perfectly match the filming’s concept of activity, further elevating the campaign. In addition, NCT 127’s outgoing personalities added a pleasant and fun atmosphere on set, with the members shown to be focused during filming, hanging out with one other, and being playful, raising the excitement of fans. The PUMA ‘SLIPSTREAM’ collection dropped on 15 September 2022 on, PUMA stores (313@somerset Flagship Store, Bugis+, ION Orchard, Jewel, OG People’s Park, The Shoppes @ Marina Bay Sands, VivoCity), PUMA LAZMall Flagship Store on Lazada Singapore, and retailers (CK Tangs, Feder Sports, FootLocker, Metro, Royal Sporting House, Run Trail, Sports Fashion, Zalora).
