Lai Kuan Lin returns to sunny Singapore for his first solo Asia Tour, 2019 LAI KUANLIN Fan Meeting [Good Feeling], on 30 April 2019! The Asia tour kicked off with his first stop in Seoul, followed by Bangkok and Singapore, and upcoming stops in Taipei and Hong Kong. Placing 7th on the survival program Produce 101, the Taiwanese singer started his entertainment career as a member of hugely successful boy group, Wanna One.

Kuan Lin kick-started Labour Day eve with Hypey, a track featuring Jackson Wang from GOT7. After his first performance, the trilingual singer introduced himself to the audience in Zepp @ Big Box in English and Mandarin. He spoke about being back in Singapore for the fourth time, and how much he loves our chicken rice!

The Cube Entertainment artiste also talked about his solo activities, such as his unit with Pentagon's Wooseok and landing his first leading role in an upcoming Chinese drama, A Little Thing Called Love. Not forgetting his roots, the youngest Wanna One member brought up his hyungs (older brothers) - about Park Woo Jin complimenting his culinary skills, and taking a selca with Park Ji Hoon while filming their reality show Zero Base. These mentions of past memories received passionate screams from the ardent audience, as they indulged in the nostalgia.

Kuan Lin continued engaging fans with witty segments named after him - Truth or LAI and School Of LAI. He showed various sides of himself by "driving" a toy car, singing One Direction's What Makes You Beautiful, and even answering as many questions as possible while counting dollar notes in one minute. Lucky fans, chosen by Kuan Lin himself through a lucky draw box, even managed to win toys!

After the chat and games, the 18-year old boy continued treating fans with I'm A Star and a cover of Let You Go by Machine Gun Kelly. The highlight of the fan meet was when he made a round in the audience during Shape Of You, showing his generosity with fan service. He ended the fan meet with Good Feeling.

Despite being young and budding, Kuan Lin doesn't forget to thank his fans by making a long and sentimental speech. "Although what I've prepared today might not meet everyone's expectations, but this is what I've always been wanting to show everyone. I hope you guys like it. I've always been grateful to people who have been supporting me from the start. Other than saying thank you, I don't know what else to say. I hope you all go home safely, and I'll see you guys next time!"

Needless to say, Kuan Lin switched between the two languages effortlessly throughout the fan meet, proving his strong language ability! With the various artistes he mentioned throughout the fan meet, he also proved how well-connected he is in the industry. We're sure Kuan Lin concluded the fourth month of 2019 prettily for fans, and we're definitely looking forward to what this uprising star will bring to the table in future!

HallyuPopFest Returns This May with Headlining Acts SJ, MONSTA X, NU'EST, WINNER

The most eagerly-anticipated K-pop music festival in the region, HallyuPopFest (HPF) returns this May for its second edition in Singapore. The best of Korean music and culture will converge at the electrifying K-pop extravaganza, which happens on the 25th and 26th of May 2019 at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Globally acclaimed superstars SUPER JUNIOR, will be headlining the festival, along with wildly popular bands such as MONSTA X, NU’EST and WINNER. In this year’s edition, a new segment, HallyuTown will also debut. It will function as the main festival square where HallyuPopFest’s much-loved Red Carpet event will be held. HallyuTown will be open to the public offering a variety of Hallyu-related booths and activities featuring K-Food, K-Beauty and K-Lifestyle, as well as a dedicated Fan Support area for fans to show their love and support for their idols.

Produce X 101 to livestream on JOOX every Friday at 10PM

Here’s your chance to enjoy your favourite K-Pop entertainment and cheer for the future rising stars! JOOX, Asia’s most popular music streaming app1 , will bring you a more intense excitement from Korea by livestreaming ‘PRODUCE X 101’ Season 4 on its platform every Friday at 10PM from 3 May onwards.

Held by Mnet, a South Korean pay television music channel, the past three seasons of ‘Produce 101’ have received global acclaim and praise. ‘Produce 101’ is a group talent show series on Mnet in Korea that premiered in 2016, where the audience selects a band among 101 trainees through online and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. tvN Asia’s original beauty show Get It Beauty On The Road has returned to Malaysia for a second season with host Kim Jung-min, make up artist Kim Ki-soo and TV presenter active in Malaysia, Nadiyah Shahab. The trio will join forces and embark on a quest to compile a complete guide for Malaysian girls to look good and feel fabulous during the Hari Raya festivities.

Thanks to tvN Asia, GOkpop was given another opportunity to visit the filming set and sit down with the hosts to talk about their beauty, fitness tips and future plans!

The hosts have been travelling around Kuala Lumpur alongside with Korean make-up artist, Kim Ki-Soo, whom also joined the team to address common beauty issues faced by the locals as well as sharing tips and tricks to look radiant and flawless for the Hari Raya season!

Q: Welcome back to Malaysia! How did you find it here so far? Did you manage to go sight-seeing or try more local foods?

KJM: I have tried Cendol for the first time. It consists of coconut milk, black sugar and green coloured jelly (cendol)? It is so good and similar to Tiger Sugar. I feel like a lot of Koreans will like it. If I have a lot of money, I would love to open a cendol store in Korea!

KKS: I went to Jalan Alor in Kuala Lumpur. I went to 5 different stores in one-go and I ate so many street food. It is so yummy.

KJM: Nadiyah also introduced us 'Rojak' as well and it is so delicious.

KKS: I feel like we're talking more about food than beauty programme right now.. *laughs*

Q: What can we look forward to Get It Beauty Season 2? The difference between Season 1 and 2?

KKS: When I visited Malaysia for the first time for season 1, I felt a bit lost and confused. However for this season 2, people here are very welcoming and they made me so much more comfortable at the shoot. If there is a difference between season 1 and 2, I am giving more beauty tips and how-tos this time and everybody at the set gave us very good reactions so far, such as "Wow!" and "Really?".

KJM: I would say this season 2 is much more interesting because I did more research on what kind of concerns and make up tips that are suitable for the locals. I am more familiar now and I am having so much fun for the shoot this time.

Q: Kim Jung Min, do you have a skincare regime or make up tricks to get your youthful complexion?

KJM: Thank you so much but I don't think so.. *laughs*. Although I am considered as a beauty guru, I don't have a lot of special tips - but what I do think it's more important is to exercise - it helps to detox and keep your blood circulation going. What you eat also reflects your skin as well.

Q: Kim Ki-Soo, Since Malaysia is known for the hot and humid weather, any tips to make our make up base last longer? Any k-beauty products you would like to recommend?

KKS: It is important to focus on the skincare and base products first, there are a lot of valuable products available in the market, you just need to find what is suitable for your skin - once you have, it will help in a long run. Everything expensive doesn't mean it is good. It all depends on your skin type.

Q: Any future plans coming back to Malaysia for more Get It Beauty On The Road shows?

KKS: Of course it is something we would wish for. Although it is so far away from now but as long as we got a lot of support from the viewers, we would love to come back to Malaysia again.

Q: How does it feel to able to work with Kim Jung-Min and Kim Ki-Soo on Get It Beauty? Share us your experience.

Nadiyah Shahab: It is such a huge honour for me. Jung Min is amazing, she is so natural as a host. Both of them have a way of boosting themselves - they always go all out on stage and they're not afraid to be themselves. She also has done so many seasons for Get It Beauty and to work with someone who is an all-timer, it is definitely a great experience. As for Ki-Soo, he is so good at his craft, seeing him sharing make up tips and tricks that I've never seen before, it's really refreshing for me to see that.

Q: Any k-beauty tips that you find interesting? What makes it different from other make up trends that you know?

Nadiyah Shahab: In Malaysia, we tend to follow the western beauty trends. Everything from matte foundation, thick full brows, to sharp eyeliners. But in Korea, they focus on 'less is more' - especially focusing on good skin and enhancing your beauty features with the most subtle make up tricks. There are no harsh lines in Korean make up, you only see dewy and rosy skin, the colours are minimal and it's totally different from what I'm used to seeing to.

Q: So what is one must have beauty item that you always carry around with you?

Nadiyah Shahab: Beauty Blender sponge! Sometimes you don't always need to touch up your skin with more foundation. You can just damp your beauty blender and tapped it on your skin to reset everything. Somehow everything will mold back together.

Get It Beauty On The Road in Malaysia will premiere on 27 May 2019 (Monday) at 23:00 (GMT+8) on Astro RIA (Ch.104) in Malaysia and on tvN in Asia on 31 May 2019 (Friday) at 20:00 (GMT+8). 2019 Mamamoo Asia Fan Meeting in Singapore

MAMAMOO concludes their Asia Fan Meeting Tour [HELLO! MOOMOO] in Singapore

Almost 5 years into their debut, MAMAMOO finally holds their first fan meeting in Singapore on 27 April 2019! The last leg of their Asia fan meeting tour; Hwa Sa, Moon Byul, Solar and Whee In swept the 2500-seated audience off their feet with their breathtaking vocals and on-stage charisma.

Dressed in eye-catching, shimmering outfits, the quartet kicked off the Saturday night at Zepp@BigBox with Egoistic, followed by Wind Flower. During the first ment, the members introduced themselves with their trademark harmonizing, showing their undeniable chemistry. Solar was pleasantly surprised by the huge turnout, and expressed "We're sad that we didn't come earlier".

The ladies then took things slower with soothing R&B ballad Better Than I Thought, then lit up the atmosphere again with No More Drama. Finally it's time to interact with the audience - four lucky Moomoos were chosen to go onstage to play games with the members!

For the "Guess the Song" game, the four members were split into two teams - Solar and Moon Byul in Team Mama, and Whee In and Hwa Sa in Team Moo. After the girls personally picked the lucky fans and went to their respective teams, the game commenced with everyone fighting intensely to win. In the end, Team Mama emerged as the winner whereas Team Moo had to do a cute penalty - the "Backpack Kid" dance! All in all, the lucky Moomoos thoroughly enjoyed themselves and much to everyone's envy, each Moomoo even took a selfie with MAMAMOO themselves.

The next segment was Moomoo Tree; where the members had to fulfill fans' wishes by picking one post-it wish each. Moon Byul sang and danced to TVXQ's Before U Go, Solar serenaded the audience with a song, Whee In brought fan service to another level by doing a sexy dance with Moon Byul, and ended with Hwa Sa's powerful rapping. Steady lah!

Immersing the crowd with their beautiful vocals once again, the girl crushes performed hits such as I Love Too, Star Wind Flower Sun, Starry Night, Gogobebe and Yes I Am. The fan meeting concluded with a sweet VCR made by Singapore Moomoos, and even a dak-bal (chicken feet) cake for birthday girl Whee In!

The ladies performed their final touches with Decalcomanie, Waggy and Um Oh Ah Yeh, where they even pulled off beautiful traditional Kerbayas. With these costumes, coupled with the influx of Singlish, MAMAMOO definitely left a deep impression on local Moomoos' hearts with these touches of our Singaporean culture. We're sure every attendee was brimming with joy and content as they ended off their April with these four talented girls!
