JYP Entertainment’s boy group NEXZ will be heading to Singapore for the first time as part of their global showcase tour. Presented by FriedRice Entertainment, the NEXZ GLOBAL SHOWCASE EVENT <Mmchk : Not Typical> in SINGAPORE will take place on 12 July 2026 (Sunday), 8PM at the Capitol Theatre.

The 7-member global boy group, consisting of TOMOYA, YU, HARU, SO GEON, SEITA, HYUI and YUKI, was formed through the survival show Nizi Project Season 2. NEXZ recently made their comeback with their second single album 'Mmchk', drawing attention for their direct participation in writing lyrics for all tracks.

Riding on the momentum of their comeback, NEXZ will embark on a series of global showcase events across Taipei on May 4th, Hong Kong on June 6th, Bangkok on July 4th, and the newly announced Singapore stop, kickstarting their global activities.

As a next-generation performance group, Singapore NEX2Y can look forward to NEXZ’s strong stage presence and dynamic performances at their showcase. All ticket holders will be entitled to an upclose hi-bye session with the group, while CAT 1 ticket holders will also stand a chance to win exclusive fan benefits, including signed posters and signed polaroids.

After eight long years, Apink finally reunited with Malaysian Pandas at their highly anticipated APINK 8th Concert “The Origin” 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, held on 3 May at Mega Star Arena — and what unfolded was a night filled with nostalgia, emotions, and the kind of bond only time can build.The concert immediately sent fans down memory lane as APINK opened the night with “I Don’t Know,” the lead track from their debut album. The nostalgic journey continued with beloved classics including “Bubibu,” “My My,” “NoNoNo,” and “Five,” instantly transforming the arena into a massive sing-along session. When a hardworking plastic surgeon is assigned to a remote Korean island as part of his military service, fate will connect him with the one person who can keep him sane in Doctor on the Edge - a new Korean romantic drama coming June 1 to Disney+.

For years, Do Jiui has studied tirelessly to become a top plastic surgeon at one of Korea’s best universities. Walled off from his emotions and driven by his singular focus, Jiui is suddenly snapped back to reality when he’s assigned to work for a year on a remote Korean island as part of his military service. Warned by his colleagues to avoid getting involved in accidents, people or love if he ever wants to get his career back on track, Jiui’s assignment gets off to an ominous start from the moment he steps on the ferry, with things rapidly getting worse from then. Stressed, emotional, and questioning what he did to deserve such a bad assignment, his only hope of making it through the year ahead lies in Yuk Hari, a helpful nurse who recently relocated to the island for unknown reasons.

Doctor on the Edge stars Lee Jaewook (The Impossible Heir, Alchemy of Souls) as Do Jiui, a plastic surgery resident assigned to Pyeondongdo - a remote Korean island - and Shin Yeeun (The Murky Stream, Revenge of Others) as Yuk Hari, a nurse from the big city who moves to Pyeondongdo for an unknown reason. The series is directed by Lee Myoungwoo (The Fiery Priest) and is written by Kim Jisoo (Missing Crown Prince).

Set to debut on Disney+ on June 1 at 22:30 MYT, new episodes of this 12-part series will launch every Monday and Tuesday through July 6 and 7.

The Walt Disney Company announced today that D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will take place in Singapore for the first time in 2027, marking a major milestone in the expansion of Disney’s global fan celebrations across the Asia Pacific region. 

This event will mark the first D23 Asia being hosted in Singapore, a one-of-a-kind celebration offering consumers exclusive, first access to the latest in Disney storytelling, creativity, and innovation. The event will convene Disney fans from across Asia Pacific and beyond, alongside top stars and storytellers from Hollywood and around the world, uniting global communities through shared fandom, some beloved characters, and immersive experiences.

D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is a global expansion of the ultimate fan experience launched in 2009 by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. The name “D23” carries a special meaning, with the “D” standing for Disney and “23” referencing the year Walt Disney opened his first studio in Hollywood in 1923. D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event has evolved into the premier global celebration of Disney storytelling and fandom. This immersive, multi-day event brings fans up close to the worlds of Disney through live stage presentations, special announcements, interactive experiences, and specially curated merchandise—inviting audiences to experience the magic behind the stories they love.
