Tuesday, February 03, 2026

Love took center stage when DAY6 brought their DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour '<The Decade>'to Kuala Lumpur on 31 January at Axiata Arena. The night felt like a heartfelt reunion between the band and My Day, filled with pride, memories, and the kind of energy only years of shared history can create. Every moment reflected how far DAY6 has come and how deeply fans have stood by them through it all.
Even before SUNGJIN, YOUNG K, WONPIL and DOWOON appeared, the stadium was already echoing with cheers and singalongs. Many fans had also thoughtfully dressed in green and pink outfits, subtly matching the night’s theme and creating a visually coordinated atmosphere even before the show began. The opening with Time of Our Life set the tone instantly. Hearts raced, emotions ran high, and the joy in the venue was impossible to contain as the members greeted everyone with bright smiles and a warm Welcome to the Show.
The momentum never slowed. My Day were on their feet, voices strong with fanchants and lyrics, hands raised as DAY6 powered through favorites like Disco Day, The Power of Love, and Days Gone By. It was a two way exchange of energy, with the band’s showmanship lifting the crowd and the crowd giving it right back.
During ment segments, YOUNG K shared how meaningful the 10 year milestone was and thanked fans for making the journey possible. His playful attempts of 'Sikit Sikit' charmed the audience even more before the group moved to the extended stage for songs like Marathon, Maybe Tomorrow, and the ever emotional Zombie. Each member took time to speak, reminiscing about Malaysia and expressing how special the night felt. WONPIL praised the crowd’s singing, while DOWOON’s adorable tone drew loud cheers. Ballads such as You Were Beautiful, Letting Go, I Smile, and You Make Me turned the arena into one massive choir.
Another touching moment unfolded during I Smile, when fans carried out a fan project that transformed the venue into a stunning sea of orange, instantly brightening the entire space. The members were visibly moved by the sight and praised how beautiful the moment was, taking time to admire the glowing venue filled with My Day’s’ love.
During the song request segment, the members were genuinely surprised by how well Malaysian My Day sang along. Thousands of fans confidently filled the venue with clear, unified vocals, singing fluently in Korean.

The highlight came during Hurt Road fan request, where the members could be seen smiling in disbelief and giving thumbs-up in appreciation. Clearly moved by the moment, YOUNG K described it as LEGENDARY, praising how beautifully the fans sang and how the shared energy made the experience unforgettable for both the band and My Day alike.
The concert surged forward again with explosive tracks like Love Me or Leave Me, WARNING, Sweet Chaos, and Shoot Me. Even during a short breather, the bond stayed strong as YOUNG K shared his food adventures with nasi lemak and durian, drawing laughter across the arena.
As the night neared its final stretch, emotions deepened. Songs like I Like You and Our Season felt like promises between DAY6 and My Day to keep walking together in the years ahead. The encore turned the arena into a warm sea of voices, almost like a giant karaoke session filled with affection. Returning in white outfits, DAY6 closed with Congratulations, Dance Dance, INSIDE OUT, Somehow, and Freely.
When the LED screens flashed scenes of DAY6’s journey, from performing in intimate venues to standing on ever-growing stages — the sense of pride among My Day was undeniable. Each milestone reflected not just the band’s growth, but the unwavering support that has carried them forward. Before bidding farewell to the crowd, SUNGJIN once again reminded everyone that a DAY6 concert is a space where stress and unhappiness can be set aside, just as their songs, through honest lyrics and heartfelt stories that continue to offer comfort to those who listen. Every album holds pieces of DAY6’s journey, intertwined with My Day’s own memories. Looking ahead to many more years together, SUNGJIN’s gentle words lingered: eat well, take good care of your health, and always be happy in life, until next time.
