Korea Travel Fest 2023 Wraps Up with Star-studded Performances by Kim Jae Joong, Soyou, Kassy, Car The Garden and Vincent Blue

The KLCC Convention Centre was abuzz with the spirit of Korea as the Korea Travel Fest 2023, hosted by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Malaysia, concluded its two-day cultural extravaganza. This event marked a significant push for Visit Korea Year 2023 - 2024, inviting participants to embark on a mesmerizing journey to South Korea.
The Korea Travel Fest 2023 concluded with a flourish after two days of exhilarating events at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on 28 and 29 October. The event, hosted by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Malaysia marked a significant push for Visit Korea Year 2023 - 2024, inviting participants to embark on a mesmerizing journey to South Korea. It was also designed to showcase the vibrant culture and tourist attractions of Korea, attracted hordes of K-pop and K-drama fans from all over Malaysia and neighboring countries.

Day 1: An Evening of Nostalgia with Iconic OST Performances 
The first day of the festival on October 28 kicked off with a press conference featuring a lineup of beloved Korean artists: Soyou, Kassy, Car The Garden, and Vincent Blue. The anticipation in the air was palpable as fans and media representatives gathered to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars. 
As evening fell, the excitement reached its peak. Soyou, took to the stage not only as a performer but also as the MC for the night. The atmosphere was electric as the artists performed a selection of all-time favorite OSTs from popular Korean dramas, stirring up a wave of nostalgia and singing along in the audience.

Day 2: An Exclusive Concert with Kim Jae Joong
The second day of the event was dedicated to the fans of Kim Jae Joong, who returned to Malaysia after a year since his last solo concert. The exclusive concert under the banner of the Korea Travel Fest was a testament to his enduring popularity. The venue was packed with eager fans, their excitement audible as Jae Joong opened the evening with his hit song "One Kiss". The event took a delightful turn as he engaged in a mukbang session on stage, savoring our local dish, laksa. His interest in trying more local delicacies like cendol and satay only endeared him further to the hearts of his fans. 
A trip down memory lane showcased his previous drama roles in "Manhole" and "Spy," while Jae Joong also took the time to answer fan requests, creating a memorable interactive experience. When questioned about his upcoming 20th-anniversary album, he teased the involvement of numerous artists, sparking anticipation among the fans. His performance of "Walking on Water" and "Now is Good" were the perfect ending to the fan meeting, leaving the audience wanting more.
