Also making a long-awaited comeback to Malaysian shores is Rad Museum. He burst onto the scene with his debut EP "Scene" in 2017, earning nominations for Best New Artist and Best R&B/Soul album at the 2018 Korean Music Awards. His recent solo albums include "RAD" from 2022, which won R&B Album of the Year at the 2023 Korean Hiphop Awards, "GIRL" from 2023, and "HOME SICK" from 2024.

Completing the formidable lineup is Miso, making her Malaysian debut. She garnered significant attention as the first Korean artist to participate in the renowned Red Bull Music Academy. Her unique tone and genre-bending musical style swiftly established her as an artist possessing fascinating energy and timeless taste. Miso is celebrated for tracks like “Take Me,” “Let It Go,” and “Alone,” and has been featured on songs with prominent artists such as Epik High, Crush, and PREP.

Organised by Lo-Fi Entertainment, 2025 JUNG YONG HWA LIVE ‘Director’s Cut: Our Fine Days’ in Kuala Lumpur will hit the stage at Mega Star Arena, KL on 14th September (Sunday), 7pm.

Celebrating the 10th year since his solo debut, the tour coincides with the release of his third mini album "One Last Day". With his signature command of stage, captivating vocals and charming moves, Yong Hwa is geared to deliver a familiar yet different excitement for the fans.

First shot to fame with CNBLUE under FNC Entertainment, Yong Hwa launched his solo career on the side in 2015 with his debut studio album “One Fine Day", which was followed by the mini albums “DO DISTURB” in 2017 and “YOUR CITY” in 2023 prior to "One Last Day".

Apart from his popularity in K-pop, Yong Hwa has also made inroads into J-pop and C-pop with recorded songs in Japanese and Mandarin, which consists of collaboration tracks with Mandopop stars such as JJ Lin and Jam Hsiao.

Yong Hwa has not only established himself in music, but also in acting. Having starred alongside Nicholas Tse in the Hong Kong film "Cook Up A Storm" (2017), his recent K-drama lead roles include "Brain Works" (2023) and "Sell Your Haunted House" (2021), which won him 2021 Excellent Actor at KBS Drama Awards. He also hosts a music talk show called “LP Room” on YouTube.

With a decade of memories to share, Yong Hwa’s upcoming solo show is more than just a celebration of his journey so far, but also a tribute to his fans for their support along the way.

In episode 2, the action ramps up as the GOOD BOY crew continues to take down criminals, cleverly using their athletic backgrounds to gain the upper hand. Their success earns them positive media attention, which allows Man-sik to officially establish the Special Criminal Investigation Team, made up of the former medalist officers. Although the newly formed team struggles to find its footing, they begin pursuing a lead on the group responsible for the break-in at Han-na’s home. Meanwhile, Dong-ju is stunned when his close friend and former boxing teammate Lee Gyeong-il (Lee Jung-ha), confesses to a hit-and-run case Dong-ju has been investigating. Knowing Gyeong-il couldn’t have committed the crime, Dong-ju digs deeper and  discovers that customs officer Min Ju-yeong (Oh Jung-se) is the true mastermind behind it all.

Episode 3:

In this episode, we delve deeper into the backgrounds of some GOOD BOY team members, and witness just how ruthless Ju-yeong truly is. In a brutal move to cover his tracks, Ju-yeong orders a prison guard to kill Gyeong-il, silencing him for good. Dong-ju is heartbroken by his friend’s death and becomes even more determined to uncover the truth. His investigation leads him to a limited edition gold watch–worn by Ju-yeong and his criminal associates–that may be the key to unraveling the conspiracy. Han-na recognises the same watch from her late father, who died while investigating the Russian mafia. As Dong-ju and Han-na share their stories, a spark begins to form between them. In a heartfelt moment, Han-na returns Dong-ju’sgold medal, previously pawned in desperation, and urges him to bring the criminals to justice. Fueled by resolve, Dong-ju confronts Ju-yeong, warning him that he won’t get away.

Episode 4:

In Episode 4,the team sets their sights on a car smuggling ring, hoping it will lead them to the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run case. In a bold move, they use the police commissioner’s brand-new car as bait to draw out the smugglers. Successfully tracing them to a secret workshop, a massive brawl breaks out when the smugglers realise they’ve been set up. Amid the chaos, the ringleader is killed by his own men, cutting off a key lead. Still, the team uncovers evidence linking Ju-yeong to the smuggling operation. As the pressure mounts, Ju-yeong tries to make an escape under the guise of  a foreign business trip, leading to a high-stakes chase. While the team pursues him on the ground, Dong-ju takes to the rooftops, leaping across buildings in pursuit. Just as Ju-yeong is about to escape, Dong-ju makes a daring leap onto his vehicle, refusing to let him slip away.

Episode 5:

Episode 5 opens with a flashback to Dong-ju’s early days as an athlete, revealing the moment he first fell for Han-na during a training run. Back in the present, Dong-ju’s dramatic leap pays off, leading to Ju-yeong’s arrest and interrogation. However, the victory is short-lived–Ju-yeong is swiftly released after the chief prosecutor intervenes. With powerful allies shielding him, Ju-yeong appears invincible. But the GOOD BOY team refuses to back down. 

Shifting focus, the team begins investigating a dangerous synthetic drug linked to a mysterious figure known only as “Devil” (Lee Ho-jung). With her identity unknown, Devil cleverly poses as a helpless victim when Dong-ju rescues her from a fire. Captivated by her savior, she starts developing feelings for him. Meanwhile, Han-na is also coming to terms with her emotions. Realising her growing affection for Dong-ju, she surprises him with a kiss–setting the stage for a complicated love triangle. 

Episode 6:

Dong-ju is on cloud nine after Han-na’s kiss–but his joy is short-lived when he suddenly collapses and ends up in the hospital. Meanwhile, Devil offers a tip, which leads the team to the mastermind behind the counterfeit drug operation. This arrest uncovers just how deep Ju-yeon’s corruption runs–even the city’s mayor is revealed to be in his pocket. Furious that the mayor failed to keep things under wraps, Ju-yeong escalates his plans by stealing Man-sik’s gun through his henchmen, preparing for more chaos.

In a twist of fate, Man-sik’s daughter recognizes Devil from their shared flight and recalls her name from the boarding pass—Kim Yeon-ha. Han-na uses this clue to confirmDevil’s true identity through forensic evidence. While Man-sik is deeply worried for his daughter’s safety, the team manages to locate her unharmed. But the danger is far from over–seeking to hurt Dong-ju even more, Ju-yeong takes a cruel step further and shoots Gyeong-il’s mother.

Episode 7: 

Thankfully, Gyeong-il’s mother survives the shooting, though she remains unconscious. Fueled by rage, Dong-ju tracks down Ju-yeong and brutally beats him. Ju-yeong, however, uses footage of the altercation to demand the disbandment of the GOOD BOY team. As tensions rise, Man-sik fights to keep the team together. Facing suspension and public scrutiny, Dong-ju walks out of his disciplinary hearing–only to reveal he had struck a deal with Ju-yeong, offering himself up to be hit in exchange for leaving his team alone.

At the same time, Dong-ju’s doctor raises a serious concern: he may be suffering from  punch-drunk syndrome, the result of repeated head trauma from his boxing days. Despite this, Dong-ju remains resolute, refusing to back down. His determination pays off not only in his pursuit of justice but also in love –his growing bond with Han-na culminates in a heartfelt, genuine kiss, marking the official start of their relationship.

Episode 8:

The GOOD BOY team continues their undercover investigation into  Ju-yeong and realize that raw materials used in Devil’s drug production are being held at a port. Disguised as pest control workers, Dong-ju, Han-na, and Jong-hyeon head to the site to inspect the shipment. But they’re not the only ones after it–Devil and her crew arrive at the same time, hoping to seize the materials. While Devil manages to slip away, the team successfully secures the container. 

However, Ju-yeong isn’t backing down., He orchestrates an ambush to intercept the container while it’s being transported through  a tunnel to the evidence storage facility. As the transport begins, the GOOD BOY team is attacked at multiple points inside the tunnel. What follows is a chaotic sequence of car crashes, explosions and brutal confrontations. The episode ends in a gripping cliffhanger, leaving viewers uncertain about the team’s fate and what chaos still awaits in the tunnel.

Every episode of GOOD BOY delivers nonstop action, perfectly balanced with moments of comedy and romance. With justice still far from fully served, there’s plenty more drama and excitement ahead. The global legacy of AKB48 continues to grow as its Malaysian sister group, KLP48, kicks off auditions for its highly anticipated second generation. Dubbed “BLOOM,” the KLP48 2nd Generation Audition is now open to young female talents aged 13 to 23 of all nationalities who dream of becoming the next big idol.

Following an explosive debut year that saw KLP48’s popularity reach beyond Malaysia and into Japan, the group is ready to expand its roster. Since their formation under AKB48’s international franchise, KLP48 has taken the stage with growing acclaim, even earning performance invites in Japan. Now, a new group of fresh faces will have the chance to carry on that momentum.

Applications are open from now until 1 August 2025 via klp48audition.com, where hopefuls must submit a video of up to 90 seconds showcasing their singing and/or dancing skills, along with other requested materials.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an on-site screening in Kuala Lumpur on 23 and 24 August, and those who advance will move on to the final audition round on 6 and 7 September.

K-pop powerhouse NCT DREAM is officially making their way back to Singapore as part of their highly anticipated fourth tour, 2025 NCT DREAM TOUR <THE DREAM SHOW 4 : DREAM THE FUTURE> in SINGAPORE. Set to take place on 18 and 19 October 2025, this marks the group’s first appearance in Singapore since their sold-out two-night concert in June 2024.

The tour will kick off with a record-breaking three-night run at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul from July 10 to 12, marking the most shows NCT DREAM has held in Korea’s largest indoor concert venue. From there, the group will head to major cities across Asia, including Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, and Jakarta International Stadium. They will once again bring their high-energy performances to some of Asia’s biggest stadiums, further cementing their status as one of K-pop’s most in-demand acts.

In a press release, SM Entertainment said the new tour will be centered around “the concept of a time-traveling journey based on the reflections and dreams of the seven band members over the past nine years and the future they will continue to write.”

Adding to the excitement, NCT DREAM is set to release their fifth full-length album, titled ‘Go Back To The Future,’ on 14 July 2025. The album features nine tracks, including double title tracks “Chiller” and “BTTF (Back To The Future)”. A teaser with a hoverboard was released earlier which symbolises the debut song 'Chewing Gum' — has already sparked buzz among fans.

The highly-anticipated finale for Squid Game is here, as the game finally comes to an end in the third season that premiered last week on 27 June. 

As a final farewell, Netflix took fans in Malaysia on a trip down memory lane with Squid Game: The Exhibit, a larger-than-life installation paying homage to the games featured in Seasons 1 to 3. From 27 to 29 June at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, more than 8,000 visitors — some dressed as their favourite characters — stepped into the immersive Squid Game arena one last time to relive the hit show’s unforgettable moments. 

The event kicked off on Friday, 27 June with 50 Pink Guards assembling alongside Young-hee and her friend Chul-su to welcome the first “players” of the day. A massive Squid Game invitation card greeted visitors as they stepped onto the pink carpet, indicating the start of the journey. 

The dalgona from Season 1 was given a local twist, wherein a wau bulan was carved on the giant honeycomb installation.

Onward to Season 2, the Flying Stone game from the Pentathlon also drew inspiration from a Malaysian childhood game — instead of a stone, a giant selipar stood ready for action to topple the stone at the end of the track.

Back with a fresh fit and a new buddy in Season 3, Young-hee brought a new game to play with some help from Chul-su. Standing at a towering 18 feet tall each, the playfully sinister duo kept a close watch as fans put their agility and reflexes to the test at the Jump Rope Challenge, with hundreds of players walking away with exclusive Squid Game goodies.

An ancient evil will rise again to threaten modern day Seoul in Twelve an action-packed fantasy series coming August 23 to Disney+ Hotstar.

A long time ago in an era long forgotten, twelve zodiac guardians fought against evil spirits in a last ditch attempt to save the human race. After a monumental sacrifice, the evil forces were sealed away and humanity continued to thrive. Today, only a few of those guardians remain, working odd jobs to protect individuals, but when evil once again begins to rise, the Twelve will be brought together under Taesan’s leadership to save modern day Seoul and the Korean peninsula from being consumed by darkness. 

Twelve stars Don Lee (Eternals, Train to Busan) as Taesan, the leader of the Twelve, and Park Hyungsik (Buried Hearts, Soundtrack #1), as Ogwi, an ancient sealed away for a thousand years. The series is written by Kim Bonghan (The Golden Holiday) and Don Lee, and is directed by Kang Daekyu (Pawn, Harmony) and Han Yunseon (18-Eighteen Noir).
