EXO returned to Malaysia on 20 June 2026 with “EXO PLANET #6 – EXhOrizon” at the National Hockey Stadium, Bukit Jalil, marking their first visit since “EXO PLANET #5 – EXplOration” in 2019. Organized by Star Planet, the night felt less like a comeback and more like a long-awaited homecoming written in cheers, sweat, and memory.

From the very first note, EXO made it clear they were not just revisiting the past. They were rebuilding it in real time.

The concert opened with their debut track “MAMA”, instantly pulling fans back to 2012. Dressed in robes inspired by their debut MV, the members looked up toward the camera as their gazes were projected across the screen, recreating the feeling of their earliest era. The moment landed like a shockwave of nostalgia, sending goosebumps through a stadium that had waited seven long years for this return.

It was EXO’s first outdoor concert in Malaysia, and the largest stadium show they have ever staged in the country, with a sold-out crowd filling Bukit Jalil. Despite the intense heatwave, fans never let the energy drop. Fan chants and sing-alongs echoed across the venue so loudly it felt like they had been waiting for this night their entire lives, every voice pushing EXO forward song after song.

The setlist traced their journey from debut to present. Part 1 brought explosive early-era power with “MAMA”, “Monster”, “Wolf”, and “Overdose”, setting the tone for a night built on legacy.

Between songs, EXO spoke directly to fans, often switching into Malay. “Rindu korang! Korang sihat-sihat?” they greeted, translating to “We miss you! Are you all well?” Suho reflected on the long wait, saying, “It’s been 7 years since we last came to Malaysia. We have been waiting for this moment for so long and we are finally here.” He added that he had always promised to return with all EXO members, a promise finally fulfilled. The moment drew loud cheers of gratitude back at him.

Sehun also melted the crowd with “Rindu kami tak? Saya rindu korang,” meaning “Did you miss us? I missed you.” In a lighthearted exchange, Sehun joked about the weather feeling windy, only for Suho to point out the fan in front of him, leading Sehun to laugh and apologise, saying the wind was only for him.

Even under the heatwave, EXO pushed through with professionalism and live vocals that never wavered. At times, they were seen taking deep breaths and even lying down briefly on stage, but their commitment never slipped. Every performance carried weight, and every member had moments to shine through solo lines within group stages, highlighting their individual strengths without separate solo stages.

One of the night’s most memorable moments came during fan interaction. EXO challenged fans to lightstick waves, promising “SUPER POWER AEGYO” if they succeeded. The first attempt did not go well, and D.O. jokingly declared “Malaysia eliminated,” sparking laughter and playful refusal from the members to perform aegyo. After a few tries, fans finally succeeded, and EXO delivered their promised aegyo moments one by one, turning the stadium into a wave of laughter.

The fun did not end there. When fans asked for more, EXO playfully refused and declared, “Aegyo is over, it is sexy time,” shifting the mood into their next section. They performed “Playboy”, “Artificial Love”, “The Eve”, and “Love Shot”, appearing in glasses and delivering a sharper, more mature stage presence that had the crowd roaring.

Part 3 lifted the energy even higher with a medley of “Tempo”, “Ko Ko Bop”, and “Call Me Baby”. The sing-alongs were so loud that EXO’s voices were nearly drowned out by fans. The momentum continued with EDM versions of “Power”, “Don’t Fight the Feeling”, and “Run”, turning the stadium into a nonstop wave of movement.

Later, the mood softened with “Baby Don’t Cry”, “Walk On Memories”, and “Don’t Go”, giving fans a reflective pause before the final surge. The closing section returned with explosive energy through “El Dorado”, “Back It Up”, and “Forever”. Before the final song, EXO asked fans to perform a random play dance, and the response stunned them. D.O. said fans danced better than him, while Sehun declared “KL is number 1” and joked that even Kai was “almost” beaten. Chanyeol called the energy overwhelmingly good.

EXO then performed “Crown”, before fans sang “I’m Home” as an encore request. The members responded emotionally, saying the song reminded them of their debut preparations and that fans themselves were their home.

The encore continued with “Back Pocket” and “Flatline”, extending the night just a little longer for everyone who was not ready to leave.

During final remarks, humor returned once more. “Terima kasih-hun” they joked, blending Malay with Sehun’s name, drawing laughter across the stadium. Chanyeol said, “Hari ini best gila la! Jumpa lagi!” Kai shared that the full stadium and fan energy made him not want to stop. Suho promised, “As long as there is EXO, we will come back to Malaysia,” while Sehun added, “We are coming back to Malaysia to have fun and I hope that day comes soon. Jangan lupa makan ya.”

Production elevated the night further with outdoor fire effects, fireworks, and confetti that filled the sky above Bukit Jalil. The concert visuals played like a film, adding scale and emotion to every era EXO revisited on stage.

By the end of the night, “EXO PLANET #6 – EXhOrizon” felt like more than a concert. It was a reminder of time passed, growth earned, and a fandom that never let go. For longtime fans, it was a journey through memory. For EXO, it was proof of how far they have come since debut, and how many iconic songs continue to define them.

Under the partnership, REPUBLIC will support both groups’ successful global expansion including the group’s album promotion and distribution. 

Born from the votes of K-pop fans in more than 217 countries and regions, izna made their official debut in November 2024. Since then, the group has showcased their versatility and broadened their musical range. 

izna released their third mini-album SET THE TEMPO on June 8 with the title track “METRONOME”, about eight months after their second mini-album Not Just Pretty. Reflecting their growing global fandom, the group wrapped their first Japan fan concert Not Just Pretty in January 2026, to sold-out crowds, following their sold-out fan concert in Korea in November 2025  According to YouTube Music, izna surpassed 400 million cumulative streams in April 2026, with “SIGN” crossing 100 million. izna’s official YouTube channel has also surpassed 500 million views, with roughly 230 million of those coming from the music videos “SIGN,” “BEEP,” and “Mamma Mia.”

The group made a powerful debut in January 2026 with their first mini-album EUPHORIA, led by the debut title track “FREAK ALARM.” The debut album sales surpassed 1.44 million copies sold, becoming the second-highest sales ever recorded for a K-pop debut album. Music Core, KBS’s Music Bank and MBC M & MBC every 1’s Show Champion— with their debut title track, a feat not achieved by a boy group in nine years. 

Beyond Korea, the group’s album reached No.7 on the Worldwide iTunes Album chart, and ranked within the top five in 18 regions, including Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Russia. In China, the album topped the daily digital album chart on QQ Music, the country’s largest streaming platform. C9 Entertainment’s K-pop boy group EPEX has released their seventh mini album Youth : Epilogue. This is their first music release of 2026 and it follows the release of their full-length album Youth Chapter 3: ROMANTIC YOUTH last summer, closing out their Youth series. Through this series, EPEX portrayed the concerns, dreams, love, and emptiness felt by themselves as well as people their age and younger, and in this epilogue album, the main narrative within the music and lyrics is about a youth who, after passing through their most intense and imperfect times, stands at the threshold of a new beginning with a renewed sense of confidence in themselves.

Youth : Epilogue includes four new tracks. The album opens with the title track “ECHO,” which features a minimalist 2000s-inspired sound with a rhythmic groove. EPEX members JEFF, BAEKSEUNG,  and AYDEN contributed to writing the lyrics, and with it, they hope it will resonate with listeners and give them confidence. “ECHO” is followed by “매일의 내일 (BETTER DAYS),” a pop track that highlights EPEX’s signature bright energy and is about dreaming of better days while standing on the boundary line between youth and adulthood. 

BAEKSEUNG also contributed to the lyrics, with AYDEN also contributing to the lyrics and the composition for the third track, “BOYS IN THE BAND.” It’s a hip-hop track that blends band-style instrumentation with emphasized four-rhythm, which is about being together with their fans no matter where they are and enjoying every moment without worry. Youth : Epilogue closes out with “사랑 아직 잘 몰라도 (Call it love),” an emotional rock ballad love song which expresses the true desire for that one person.

IDID released their new single album “FLY!” on May 27, returning with a determination to fly even higher while pivoting toward a brighter, livelier direction. 

“FLY!” focuses on revealing the rookie group’s most natural side at this very moment. Highlighting their confidence, vibrancy, and the “after-school energy,” the album showcases their positive vibes and unique chemistry. The lead track of the same name captures these elements to the fullest. Also included in the album is “Attent!on,” which was first performed as an unreleased track during IDID’s first fan concert last April. This album marks a significant musical expansion for IDID. After establishing the team’s musical identity with their debut album “I did it.” and their first digital single “PUSH BACK,” the group has taken a further step to embrace brightness and liveliness. The members – JANG YONGHOON, KIM MINJAE, PARK WONBIN, CHU YOOCHAN, PARK SEONGHYEON, BAEK JUNHYUK and JEONG SEMIN – are the winners from Starship Entertainment’s ambitious debut project ‘Debut’s Plan,’ which aired last year amid high popularity.

The group made their official debut with the “I did it.” album in September, establishing themselves as one of the most promising rookie acts in K-pop. With this album – a bold statement of IDID’s intent to break the mold and turn imperfection into brilliance – the septet achieved a series of remarkable musical feats including a music show win, while selling more than 440,000 copies of their album in the first week of release.

Global K-pop icon G-DRAGON, together with his brand PEACEMINUSONE and Korean brick brand OXFORD, is bringing the pop-up experience “818 BLOOM BY G-DRAGON” to Penang, presented by Tiger Star Culture Group. Following a strong response in Kuala Lumpur, it will continue from 12 June to 21 June 2026 at Sunway Carnival Mall, offering an immersive experience that blends fashion, art, and creative installations inspired by G-DRAGON’s signature aesthetic.

The double digital celebration of 6.6 felt extra special this year as Malaysian fans were finally reunited with PARK JI HOON after eight long years. Held at the KLCC Plenary Hall on 6 June, the 2026 PARK JI HOON ASIA FAN CON 'RE:FLECT' IN KUALA LUMPUR marked Jihoon's long-awaited return to Malaysia — and this time, it was all about him as a solo artist.The evening kicked off with a powerful opening sequence as Jihoon took the stage with "Blank Effect", followed by "Serious" and "GOTCHA", instantly igniting excitement throughout the venue. Dressed in style and overflowing with charisma, Jihoon greeted fans warmly in Bahasa Malaysia, saying, "Saya sangat gembira dapat jumpa semua hari ini" ("I'm very happy to see everyone here today"), drawing loud cheers from the crowd.The fan-con then shifted into an interactive segment where Jihoon transformed into "Prince Jihoon" while his beloved fandom, MAY, became princesses awaiting rescue.
