Jang Dong Woo of INFINITE made a warm and memorable return to Malaysia with his ‘Connection’ fan concert at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on 15th August 2025, just six months after performing here with his group in February. While billed as a fan concert, Dong Woo went all out, delivering an evening packed with songs, humor, and endless fan interactions that showcased his sincerity and playful charm.

From the very start, Dong Woo made it clear this would be no ordinary fan meeting. He filled the night with a mix of live performances and personal stories that brought fans closer to his world. In the first interaction session, he candidly shared what he had been up to upon arriving in Malaysia, delighting fans with anecdotes about visiting Jalan Alor, trying durian, and hilariously imitating how stall vendors cut open the fruit. He also revealed that satay, especially with its signature peanut sauce, had become his favorite Malaysian food. With his signature humor, he recalled visiting Pavilion Mall only to find it closed, and when it began raining, he opted to wear a plastic bag on his head rather than splurge on an expensive umbrella.

The encore was another highlight. Dong Woo emerged with roses, handing them out to fans with warmth and laughter. When he ran out of flowers, he improvised by gifting anything within reach, from towels to water bottles, sparking a mix of laughter and adoration.

The evening also carried an emotional touch during the group photo session when fans unveiled a surprise video project. The heartfelt tribute nearly moved Dong Woo to tears, though he jokingly said the tears “went back in” after hearing someone shouted “Dongwoo hyung” in the video, In return, he handed his towel to the male inspirit, visibly touched by the effort and love from Malaysian fans.

What stood out most throughout the night was Dong Woo’s sincerity. Every interaction, joke, and performance radiated a sense of genuine care for his fans. He closed the evening with a heartfelt promise to return, whether as a soloist or alongside his INFINITE members, leaving fans with both joy and anticipation for the future.

Kuala Lumpur was swept into K-drama fever on August 10–11 as Lee Jong Suk and Moon Ga-young, the beloved leads of tvN Asia’s Law and the City, made their highly anticipated Malaysian stop for the ‘Star Tour’. This marked Malaysia as the only Southeast Asian stop for the drama’s promotional events, giving local fans a rare chance to meet the stars in person — a memory that will be cherished for years to come.

The walls of The Star Theatre shook on Saturday evening as Xdinary Heroes brought their Beautiful Mind World Tour back to Singapore, marking their highly anticipated return after more than a year. The show was made all the more special as it served as the final Asia stop before the six-member rock band heads to North America in August.From the moment Geon-il, Jeong-su, Ga-on, O.de, Jun Han, and Joo-yeon took the stage, the energy was palpable. The concert kicked off with a powerhouse opening — Beautiful Life, Xymphony, Bicycle, Bad Chemical, LOVE and FEAR, and Fight Me — setting the tone for an adrenaline-charged evening. 

       

Known as a “melting pot of genres,” Xdinary Heroes proved their musical versatility with a setlist that spanned heartfelt ballads, high-octane rock, and genre-bending tracks. Fans were treated to songs the members had a hand in writing and composing, including PLUTO and Diamond, each delivered with raw emotion and technical precision. The night reached new heights when the band unleashed their latest track FiRE (My Sweet Misery), sending the crowd into a frenzy.The atmosphere was electric as fan favourites like Feeling Nice, Walking to the Moon, Save Me, and Night Before the End rang through the venue. Each song was met with deafening cheers, lightsticks swaying in sync with the music, and fans singing along word-for-word. As the final notes faded, the members took a moment to share their heartfelt gratitude. In their ending ment, they promised, “If you keep seeking for us and reaching out for us, we will come back to you.” They assured fans that they would continue making better music and growing as artists, creating songs that bring joy to listeners around the world.
