After nine long years, TAEYONG finally returned to Malaysia — and this time, it's for his solo concert. Held last Saturday (11 April) at Idea Live Arena, the 2026 TAEYONG CONCERT IN KUALA LUMPUR marked not only his first-ever solo concert in the country, but also a meaningful moment just four months after his military discharge. For fans who had waited nearly a decade, the night felt both surreal and deeply personal.The show exploded to life with a powerful opening sequence of “Locked,” “Loaded,” “Skiii,” and “APE,” immediately setting the tone for a high-energy, no-holds-barred performance. From the very first beat, TAEYONG commanded the stage with precision, charisma, and a renewed sense of freedom that only amplified his artistry.Balancing intensity with emotion, he treated fans to beloved tracks like “Ruby” and “Tap,” before unveiling a newer side of himself through “Am I In Love or Not,” seamlessly transitioning into “Love Theory.” Each segment of the concert reflected his evolving musical identity — raw, experimental, yet undeniably heartfelt. “It's been such a long time since I came to Malaysia. I really miss y’all, and I promise I will come back more often to meet everyone,” TAEYONG shared sincerely, drawing loud cheers from the crowd. He also expressed his desire to experience more of Malaysia beyond the stage. “Every time when I visit, the schedule is very tight. I always wanted to visit Batu Caves, but didn’t have the chance. Hopefully next time, I get to go.” He added with a smile that he hopes to finally try satay on his next visit — a simple wish that fans are already eager to see fulfilled.Throughout the night, TAEYONG made an effort to connect in a more personal way, charming fans with his Malay phrases like “Saya rindu kamu,” “Korang enjoy tak,” and “Saya sayang kamu,” each one met with overwhelming cheers and affection. In an exciting surprise, he also hinted at new music on the way — a promise that quickly turned into reality as teasers for his upcoming single “Rocks Solid” featuring Anderson .Paak dropped shortly after the concert, with the release set for 17 April. 

Fans in Malaysia were treated to an electrifying night as iQIYI Starship 2026 made its highly anticipated debut in Kuala Lumpur, headlined by iQIYI International Global Ambassador Esther Yu. 

On the evening of April 2, 2026, the Mediacorp Theatre transformed into an electrifying sonic playground as WOODZ brought his <ARCHIVE. 1> tour to life. Behind the stage name is Cho Seung-Yeon, a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper, and record producer who first debuted as part of the group UNIQ. Over the years, he has built a reputation as one of the industry's most versatile self-producing artists, seamlessly moving across genres. His album, OO-LI, marked a defining moment in his career. Comprising 10 tracks, the album leans strongly into alternative and rock influences, led by Drowning, a fan-favorite that has over 56 million views on Youtube. His music direction continues into his latest full-length album, <ARCHIVE.1>, where he continues to push his musical boundaries, seamlessly weaving together rock, hip-hop, R&B, and ballads into one cohesive body of work.

A spectacular opening that sets the tone, WOODZ kicked off the show with "Bloodline". He established a gripping atmosphere that was raw, emotional, and deeply immersive. Opening with tracks like "Downtown," "Dirt on My Leather," and "Dayfly", he later shared "Opening I did more emotional songs. A lot of people love my emotional songs." He is one of those artists who walks on stage with a soft and almost boyish charm, only to delivery a voice so powerful it makes your hair stand on end. Just when it feels predictable, he shifts again with complete complete.

The night didn't just remain a performance on stage, it was a fully shared experience between WOODZ and his fans, known as MOODZ. He constantly encouraged the crowd to get on their feet, to move, to sing, and to truly feel every moment alongside him.

And Singapore delivered. 

The entire venue had transformed into a wave of energy. Fans were no longer just watching. They were jumping, vibing, and singing every lyric in perfect unison, creating an atmosphere that felt alive and electric from every corner of the theatre.

What made it even more special was how WOODZ embraced the local culture. Dropping Singlish phrases throughout the concert. Lines like "Singapore slay", "Okay let's go lah", "Aiyo I am so touch lah", and "Bagus" were met with loud cheers and laughter, deep one deepening the sense of familiarity and warmth in the room.

One of the most powerful segment of the night was when WOODZ sang "Drowning," which he also revealed is his favorite song. Hearing it live brought out even more intensity, blending emotional delivery with a gritty and rock influence. The transition into "CINEMA" added another layer of storytelling. He shared that the song is the continuation of Drowning and was completed three months later. He also invited fans to take on a short challenge of the song, turning it into an interactive moment where the fans seamlessly carried the melody forward in one unified voice.

He then surprised the audience with a heartfelt cover of  "Twilight" by JJ Lin, a choice that felt especially meaningful for the local crowd. 

The atmosphere shifted again with "The Spark," where fans were encouraged to headbang together. The energy was explosive and immediate. The setlist continued with songs like "AMNESIA," Busted," "Human Extinction," and "Smashing Concrete," each showcasing a different side of his artistry, from rebellious intensity to introspective emotion.

Before closing, WOODZ shared, "For a long time I have been preparing the album. I will come back to Singapore if I release a new album and new world tour at the end of the year. I promise." Adding a warm local touch, he said "After the show please have some food, have your dinner, makan and stay healthy until I come back."

The final song, "Stray," introduced as the most powerful song in his life, brough the night to an unforgettable close. No single word could truly encapsulate what this show was. It felt like a work of art, one that revealed the depth of heart and dedication WOODZ pours into his music. It stands among the most memorable concerts in recent years, and we can only hope to see WOODZ return to Singapore again soon.

On March 28, MONSTA X finally made their long-awaited return to Malaysia for MONSTA X World Tour [THE X: NEXUS], delivering a powerful and emotional performance that Malaysian MONBEBE will not soon forget.

Held at Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur, the concert marked a meaningful reunion after years of anticipation. From the moment the lights dimmed, the atmosphere inside the venue transformed, fans erupted into cheers as the members appeared on stage, setting the tone for a night filled with energy.

The group performed a setlist that showcased their signature intensity, featuring electrifying performances including “DRAMARAMA,” “Love Killa,” and “Rush Hour,” alongside heartfelt tracks such as “Middle Of The Night” and “Nobody Else.” Their stage presence, combined with powerful choreography and strong live vocals, reminded fans why MONSTA X continues to stand out as one of K-pop’s most powerful performers.

Fans responded with so much love, filling the arena with unified fan chants and a beautiful wave of lightsticks glowing in the dark. The connection between MONSTA X and MONBEBEs was truly something special, making every moment feel warm, personal, and full of meaning.

After their group performances, each member took the spotlight for their solo stages, giving fans a chance to fangirl over their individual talents. Shownu wowed everyone with his incredible dance skills on “Around & Go,” followed by Hyungwon’s smooth and captivating performance of “No Air.” Minhyuk brought a more melancholic, emotional vibe with “Reaching,” while Jooheon energized the crowd with his latest single “Sting.” And of course, Kihyun turned up the heat with his sultry and powerful stage of “Howling.”

The members were so excited to pick up  Malaysian culture and language, learning slangs like “Mantap” (best!) and “Padu Giler” (so amazing!), sparking plenty of adorable reactions from Malaysian MONBEBEs—and even asking fans for local food recommendations to try.

 With time comes change—but some bonds only grow stronger. At Arena @ Expo in Singapore on March 28, Kim Jae-joong transformed the finale of 2026 KIM JAE JOONG J-Party Asia Tour Fan Concert “GALAXY 1986” into an intimate reunion, where every song, smile, and shared moment reflected years of unwavering support.

Named after the year he was born, “GALAXY 1986” carried a deeper meaning—celebrating not only Jaejoong’s journey, but also the fans who have stood by him from the very beginning to the present. As the last stop of the Asia tour, the Singapore show carried an added emotional weight, with Jaejoong sharing that this would be the last of his signature J-Party fan concert format. While it marked the end of an era, he reassured fans that he would continue meeting them through concerts and future projects.The night began on a striking note as Jaejoong appeared in an all-white ensemble, exuding a princely aura. Opening with “Maze” and “Just Another Girl,” he immediately set the tone with powerful vocals and commanding stage presence.
