Eric Nam Successfully Completes 'Before We Begin' Asia Tour With Last Stop in KL

Multitalented singer-songwriter Eric Nam has finally brought his 'Before We Begin' Asia tour to Malaysia at The Bee on 17th January 2020.
As Malaysia was the last stop for his Asia tour, he indeed saved the best for last - Eric went all out performing on stage, turning into a night that was filled with great memories for both Eric and his fans, 'Nam Nation'.
The show kicked off when Eric Nam stepped on stage and performed his opening song ‘Come Through’ which is one of the songs from his new album. Afterwards, he performed more of his popular tracks such as 'Runaway', 'You're Sexy I'm Sexy' and 'Good For You'
After the continuous of high energy performances, Eric Nam took a moment to converse with his fans, “It’s been awhile since I’ve been back right? I’m excited and it’s really good to see you guys.”
“As you probably know by now, this is a TED talk more than a concert - as you have the tendency on how to live your life, just like any Asian parents.” as usual, Eric being his witty self, leaving the crowd bursting into laughter.
Even though he was on stage alone most of the time, Eric’s charismatic stage presence was more than enough to fill in what could have been a void - he knew exactly how to entertain the crowd, he basically turned the show into a whole party during ‘Idea Of You’, using the opportunity to get closer to the fans, gesturing the microphone to them to sing along and even encouraging everyone to dance as well.

Eric Nam is also known for experimenting a wide range of genres, he's not afraid to show different sides of him - performing from upbeat dance tracks to more of soft slower ballads such as ‘This Is Not A Love Song’ 'Love Die Young' and ‘Hold Me’.
Eric also performed his hit song that he collaborated with Epik High’s Tablo and Gallant. Even without the featured artists, he nailed the performance ever so flawlessly.
Not only that, as mentioned being the multitalented he is, he also showed off his cool dance moves during 'Potion' and 'Don't Call Me'.

One of the highlights of the night was when Eric serenaded to his fans with the acapella version of his debut song ‘Heaven’s Door’, which was released in 2013. Being the fanservice king he is, he happily fulfiiled fans’ request by singing more of his other songs in acapella style including 'Interview' and 'Can't Stop The Rain'
After moments of partying and performing, Eric Nam expressed his gratitude towards his fans’ love and support that he has received throughout the years.
“Thank you so much for coming out tonight guys, you can be anywhere and doing anything, but you're here.”
"Hopefully I'll be back soon, if I come back, will you come back?" he was all smiles when fans responded with a loud yes!
To wrap up the night, Eric performed couple of his encore songs including, 'Congratulations', 'Honestly' and 'Can't Help Myself'. We hope that Eric Nam will come back to Malaysia soon and we're so excited to see what he has in store for us in the future!
