Inside Inspire Live Arena, Petaling Jaya’s New Multi-Event Venue
Inspire Live Arena has officially opened at IOI Mall Damansara in Petaling Jaya, marking a new chapter for Malaysia’s live entertainment and events industry.
The venue held its official opening on 16th August 2026, with YB Lee Chean Chung, Member of Parliament for Petaling Jaya, serving as Guest of Honour. The opening also brought together representatives from Superstar Arena Holding Sdn. Bhd., IOI Properties Group, event organisers, artists, industry partners and members of the media.
Located on Level 3A of IOI Mall Damansara, Inspire Live Arena can accommodate up to 5,000 guests, depending on the event configuration. Designed as a flexible, multi-purpose venue, it is suited for concerts, live entertainment, corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, product launches, e-sports, festivals, banquets and other large-scale events.
The venue can also accommodate up to 90 tables for banquet events. Its integration within IOI Mall Damansara provides accessibility and supporting facilities for both event organisers and guests.
During the official opening, Lee highlighted the venue's potential to create opportunities for artists, event organisers and businesses while bringing communities together in Petaling Jaya. He also noted the wider impact that events can have on tourism, hospitality, retail, food and beverage, transportation and local businesses.
Lee encouraged Inspire Live Arena to remain a good neighbour and responsible corporate citizen by supporting local businesses, providing opportunities for Malaysian artists and creative professionals, and contributing positively to the surrounding community.
The venue’s opening also marks a continuation of Superstar Arena Holding Sdn. Bhd.’s journey in Malaysia’s live entertainment and events industry. According to the welcome speech by Inspire Live Arena’s General Manager, the story began with the official opening of Idea Live Arena on April 27, 2025.
From Idea Live in 2025 to Inspire Live Arena in 2026, the company described the new venue as an expansion of its capabilities and a more versatile platform for entertainment, business, creativity and community.
At the official opening, Lee declared Inspire Live Arena officially open, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the venue and its future events.
