MAMAMOO's Hwasa and MEOVV's Narin Celebrate Burberry's Iconic Check Bags in New Summer Campaign
Burberry brings House Check to the city with a new campaign that explores the versatility and self-expression inherent in its signature bag collection.
Starring South Korean singers Hwasa and Narin, the campaign film and portraits capture the iconic check bags through two distinct characters, each bringing a personal interpretation to the Burberry wardrobe. Paparazzi-style vignettes follow a day in the life on the streets of Seoul, from candid, off-guard moments to playful promenades.
At the centre is Burberry’s refreshed collection of House Check bags, crafted in coated cotton canvas with smooth leather trims and signature Knight hardware. New shapes, including the curved Primrose and a travel-ready zipped tote, join compact vanity bags and relaxed drawstring styles.
Expanding on the world of check through craft and material technique, the house code is hand-crocheted in raffia to create the Margate tote, or woven into quilted nylon for the Horseshoe backpack.
As they move through the city, Hwasa and Narin showcase fresh expressions of the Burberry wardrobe. Signature outerwear silhouettes in lightweight designs include the Waterloo trench coat and the Hayfield Harrington jacket, both crafted in tropical gabardine, alongside the Rosewin trench jacket in nylon. Sporty separates from the Burberry activewear collection elevate workouts, while polo shirts and tank tops trimmed with the House Check transition effortlessly from relaxed daytime wear to evening looks.
