BTS' "NORMAL" Makes Spotify History With Record-Breaking First Day
BTS has added another milestone to its growing list of achievements on Spotify.
On July 17, the group's new music video for "NORMAL" became the most streamed K-pop music video in a single day in Spotify history. Released on the same day, the video was made available to watch first on Spotify. The achievement was announced through Spotify's official Instagram and X accounts.
The latest record adds to the success of BTS' fifth studio album, ARIRANG. Earlier this year, on March 20, the album became the most streamed K-pop album in Spotify history, marking another major milestone for the global group.
Spotify currently offers music videos to Premium subscribers in selected beta markets, allowing fans to watch official music videos alongside exclusive content such as live performances and covers within the platform.
With "NORMAL" setting a new benchmark on its first day, BTS continues to expand its record-breaking run on Spotify.
