Thursday, November 18, 2021

On Tuesday, cast (Yoo Ah-in, Kim Hyun-joo, Park Jeong Min, Won Jin-a, Yang Ik-june) and Director Yeon gathered for an online press conference for the upcoming Netflix thriller 'Hellbound'.

Netflix's 'Hellbound' is adapted from the original webtoon, 'The Hellbound' (by Choi Gyu-seok and director Yeon Sang Ho) and here are other reasons why 'Hellbound' is a masterpiece that you should check out on Netflix tomorrow!

Overachieving even before release on Netflix
Even before its collaboration with 'Netflix', 'Hellbound' was selected for the Toronto Film Festival, the BFI London Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival. Critics, who saw the preview at the events, praised and mentioned that they forgot to read the subtitles as they found themselves fully immersed in the story!

We truly hope for Hellbound to be another worldwide phenomenon!

One-of-a-kind director
Director Yeon Sang Ho is well-known for creating masterpieces and 'Hellbound' is just another gem to his universe! As the director of global hits like 'Train to Busan', 'Peninsula' and more, Director Yeon's works are definitely not for one to miss out on and 'Hellbound' is of no exception.

Intriguing Storyline and cinematics
'Hellbound' reflects the living hell in our society, where characters have different motivations, some stay true to their beliefs till the end, while others eventually succumb to their situations.
Viewers of 'Hellbound' can also expect to empathise deeply with the the diverse characters in the series.

Memorable Characters and Impressive Performance of Cast
Yoo Ah-In's incredible acting will make jaws drop (yet again!) as he brings out the character of Jung Jin-soo perfectly.
Jung Jin-soo will strike fear into viewers and send chills down your spine.

Kim Hyun-Joo, plays Min Hyejin, a character that viewers will be able to empathise with the most. Flawed, like every one of us, yet grounded to her beliefs and morals, she tries her very best to help those in need and to bring the world to back to their senses.
Viewers will be able to see Kim Hyun-joo deliver her solid acting in 'Hellbound'.

Park Jeong-min and Won Jin-A play Bae Young Jae and Song So Hyun, a humble husband and wife who are just trying to keep the family safe.
Their impressive acting will leave viewers glued to the show.

Yang Ik-June plays Jin Kyunghun, a police detective investigating the demonstrations of hell. No matter how much the world changes, there is always someone to protect, and for Jin Kyunghun it will be his daughter Heejung.

Viewers can also expect for many other interesting and diverse characters in 'Hellbound'!

Message of the drama
'Hellbound', although in a rather unrealistic setting, is indeed a meaningful show that will allow viewers to reflect on our society that we live in today. How far will humans go with hatred, exclusion, rage and how this will leave the society divided on the right and wrong?
Viewers can also pay attention to the will of humankind to stand against the imaginable fears of an unforeseen and ever-changing world.

Be sure to check out 'Hellbound' on Netflix, 19 November.
