Special cameos are always a nice treat, but Record of Youth takes its cameo game to the next level. While most K-dramas feature very short cameos that are limited to one scene and one episode, Record of Youth provides fun cameos that are often shown in multiple scenes and episodes. Check out some notable special appearances here

Kim Hye Yoon

The very first cameo from Record of Youth features Kim Hye-yoon of SKY Castle and Extraordinary You fame. She portrays makeup artist Lee Bo-ra, who breaks up with top star Park Do-ha (starring Kim Gun-woo). Delivering some satisfying slaps, Kim Hye-yoon makes an impactful appearance. This breakup scene is important and foreshadows the potential issues between actor Sa Hye-jun (starring Park Bo-gum) and makeup artist An Jeong-ha (starring Park So-dam).

Park Seo Joon
Park Seo-joon’s special appearance came about from his connections with Park Bo-gum and Ha Myeong-hee. Earlier this year, Park Bo-gum made a special cameo in Park Seo-joon’s hit drama Itaewon Class due to his relationship with Director Kim Sung-yoon, whom he worked with in Love in the Moonlight. Park Seo-joon also appeared in Ha Myeong-hee’s drama One Warm Word which aired in 2013-2014. His cameo character is a top star who shares the same name as his character from One Warm Word, Song Min-soo. Song Min-soo is a friendly senior colleague to Hye-jun and Hae-hyo.
