3 Things Eric Nam Did During His Latest Visit To Singapore

Friday, January 18, 2019

Singapore is pretty much Korea-American star Eric Nam’s third home (after the States and Korea, of course). A couple of weekends ago, he was back in Singapore to film for the upcoming Viu Original, ‘No Sleep No FOMO’ with veteran host Paul Foster.

Casting aside what most travel shows do – paint a rosy picture of experiencing everything that a city has to offer, each episode of ‘No Sleep No FOMO’ drops the show’s host and one celebrity guest into an amazing city and gives them a list of must-do things to see, do and eat within sixty hours and without any sleep.

Here, we have singled out three activities the cast did during this whirlwind trip:
1. Visit Pulau Ubin

Often considered as the last kampung (village) in Singapore, Eric Nam and Paul Foster spent a morning walking and pedaling through rustic roads, spotting rare animals, and immersing themselves in tranquility rarely found in the main island.

2. Indulge in a mouth-watering plate of chilli crab

One of Singapore’s national cuisines, the dish is meant to be eaten with bare hands, which allows the gourmet in you to savour the juicy crab meat with its sweet and spicy chilli sauce. Did Eric Nam eat like a local? We’ll find out soon on ‘No Sleep No FOMO’.

3. Chill at Marina Bay

No visit to Singapore is complete without a trip to one of the world’s most iconic skylines, Marina Bay. With skyscrapers illuminated in bright lights each night, Eric Nam and Paul Foster wound down with some light- hearted banter. Surely, a bromance is brewing between the two.

‘No Sleep No FOMO’ is hosted by entertainment industry veteran Paul Foster (Singapore), and each episode features guest appearances by regionally-known influencers such as Hana Tam (Hong Kong), Laureen Uy (Philippines), Benjamin Kheng and Nat Ho (Singapore), Eric Nam (South Korea) and Taya Rogers (Thailand), with more to come.
Besides the cast sharing their own behind-the-scenes takes on social media during production, fans are given the power to influence the show’s direction and the cast’s actions when they take part in polls or respond to questions posted by cast members on their social media accounts. This means plans are subject to change, with many plot twists in the show.

‘No Sleep No FOMO’ will premiere on Viu in early 2019.
