Bicycles

High school students in Korea usually aren’t old enough to drive cars, so they’ll ride bikes or motorcycles instead. Kim Jo-jo (starring  Kim So-hyun) and Lee Hye-yeong (starring Jung Ga-ram) have a sweet bicycle ride in the snow in Love Alarm S1. Choi Joon-woo (starring Ong Seong-qu) uses his bike for transportation in Moment of Eighteen.

Buses

Not all students own and ride bikes, so buses are another common form of transportation for high school students. Being in close proximity with your crush can easily lead to heart-fluttering moments. Kim So-hyun shares a gentle moment with Nam Joo-hyuk on a bus in Who Are You: School 2015. She also stands with Song Kang at a bus stop while it’s raining in Love Alarm S1.

Yoodo - Malaysia’s first truly customizable and 100% digital mobile service brought cheer to the BTS Malaysia Army through a dynamite collaboration that empowered them to pursue their passion for BTS. Around 178 Armies were brought to the much-anticipated screening of BTS’ latest documentary, which captured the boy-band’s journey throughout their 2019 Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour. 

Yoodo’s collaboration with BTS Malaysia saw a giveaway of the documentary’s screening tickets to fans in the Klang Valley. The tickets were snapped up in a matter of minutes as fans were eager to watch the K-pop sensations on the big screen.

Asides from the documentary screening, Yoodo also delivered special ‘fan kits’ consisting of BTS-themed fanmade stickers and badges. Wrapped up in custom Yoodo K-themed packaging, the fan kits were distributed to a total of 6,800 ARMYs across Malaysia. 

Yumi, a representative from BTS Malaysia said they were surprised when contacted by Yoodo for this collaboration. “It was a massive project and we were excited about the screening project but at the same time challenged, considering the team members weren’t all in the same country. After some discussion we decided on distributing goodies to other fans from different states as they weren’t able to catch the screening.

This collaboration with BTS Malaysia is one of the many K-pop related activities Yoodo has created to connect with Malaysians and celebrate their passion. Among them were social media contests to give away tickets to the IU 2019 Love, Poem Tour as well as online concerts to shows such as the (G)I-DLE Online Concert 'I-Land: Who Am I' and Monsta X Live: From Seoul With Love virtual concert. Jung Hae In, Goo Kyo Hwan, Kim Sung Kyun and Son Suk Goo have confirmed to join Netflix's new Korean original series 'D.P'. D.P. is an acronym for 'Deserter Pursuit,' a unit within the Army's Military Police for tracking down AWOL soldiers. It tells the story of a young army private who unexpectedly becomes a desertion arrest officer and finds himself in confusing and complicated situations. With this novel premise and a close look into issues within the military, the original webtoon by Kim Bo-tong was a huge hit that attracted more than 10 million readers in Korea. 

Jung Hae-in plays An Jun-ho, an army private assigned to D.P. detail by his supervisor who has found him to be observant and persistent. An Jun-ho is a quiet, even-tempered young man who does not believe in bending the rules. He becomes to be struggling with inner conflict as he faces different cases of deserters.

Goo Kyo-hwan plays Han Ho-yeol, the corporal leading the desertion arrest unit. Although he appears to be an unambitious free spirit, Ho-yeol will present Jun-ho at times with useful investigation know-how and at times with ill temper, in a display of great teamwork between the two actors.
