Song Kang is ready to meet fans worldwide in a virtual live fan meeting hosted by Netflix. 

The event will be aired through Netflix’s Korean content YouTube channel THE SWOON, and will feature a Q&A, quiz, and many more engaging interactions with the beloved actor. The hour-long virtual fan meeting will be streamed in English, while subtitles in Traditional Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, Thai, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Latin America), and Vietnamese will be made available after the live event.DETAILS OF THE EVENT

Forecasting Love and Weather is a romantic comedy series about people at the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) who break, fall and get back on their feet every day. The story narrates Jin Ha-kyung (starring Park Min Young), who decides never to commit to an office romance after a brutal break-up, again falling into a relationship with a newcomer in the team Lee Si-woo (starring Song Kang) who is different but attractive in his own way. 

Yesterday evening, director Cha Young Hun and the cast - Park Min Young, Song Kang, Yoon Bak and Yura attended 'Forecasting Love and Weather' online press conference and talked about their characters in the drama and difficulties they faced when playing the roles.

Q: Why did you decided to take this role? 

Park Min Young: It felt refreshing at first but after filming it, I have some regrets. As this is a new concept about weather forecast so there's no other drama reference that I can look up to and so I watched documentaries to familiarise with the terms and the pattern of the speech. It was fun but really tough. As I did my homework I feel proud of myself. 

Song Kang: The concept about weather felt fresh to me. I find myself smiling as I read the script. The transparent and clumsy character as Si-woo was just right for me. I tried to make the character as bright as possible. The lines were hard so I watched a lot of documentaries. As for my appearance, I cut my hair short and I look a little dumb.

Yura: I auditioned for twice. I read the script from the perspective of an audience so it was really fun. I really wanted to join the drama, so when I got the call back, I almost flew around the house. That's how much I love the script. 

Yoon Bak: Honestly, I like all the other characters except mine. I almost decided not to take the role because of his character but was persuaded by the director after I met him. I was really stressed out by the character Han Ki Joon.

With a star-studded cast of Park Min Young, Song Kang, Yura and Yoon Bak, this is one of the most anticipated Romantic Comedies in the first half of 2022. Watch it on Netflix on 12 February.

‘Twenty-five, Twenty-One’ is a love story about a fencer Na Hee-do (played by Kim Tae-Ri) and a sports reporter Baek Yi-Jin (played by Nam Joo-Hyuk).

When asked what made Director Jung choose the specific time period of 1998, he replied that it was a period that a lot of changes happened and many faced challenges then. He further shared that, through the drama, he hope to give some messages to people who are facing challenges amidst the current pandemic. 

‘Twenty-five, Twenty-One’ has been the talk of the town recently due to star-studded cast lineup! 

The drama consists of Kim Tae-Ri (The Space Sweepers, Mr Sunshine) and Nam Joo-Hyuk (Start-Up, The School Nurse Files) as the main cast and all-rounder Cosmic Girls’ member Bona— also known as Kim Jiyeon (Homemade Love Story) together with rising actor Choi Hyun Wook (Racket Boys) and Lee Ju Myung (Kairos).

Kim Tae-Ri, plays Na Hee-Do

Kim Taeri told the press that she practised fencing for almost 6 months! She will play Na Hee-do, a fencer who is bold and full of courage.

The actress also shared a behind story that fellow cast member, Bona, invited her to her house to practise fencing together. According to Bona, Tae-ri was soaked by the time she reached the house as she had sandbags tied to her ankles.

Q: How did you prepare for your role and what is the charm of your acting?

The actor also shared that he personally met a sport reporter, where he learnt more insights on his role and how to better portray his character.
