The CNY festive season brought an extra layer of excitement as megastar RAIN returned to Malaysia for his Still Raining tour at Resorts World Genting on February 8. Although the legendary performer has graced Malaysian stages for festivals and special events, this marked his first full concert tour in the country since 2016—making it an unforgettable night for his devoted fans.

From the moment he stepped onto the stage, RAIN captivated the audience with his signature charisma and electrifying stage presence. The concert was a powerhouse of nostalgia and high-energy performances, featuring some of his biggest hits, including Gang, It’s Raining, How to Avoid the Sun, Rainism, and fan-favorite tracks like Bad Guy, 30 Sexy, Hip Song, and La Song.

In a special treat for the audience, RAIN surprised fans with a performance of Gangnam Style, the globally recognized hit that had everyone dancing along. Still in Their Prime - INFINITE’s 15th Anniversary Concert in Singapore

It’s been nearly a decade since INFINITE last performed in Singapore, but their return on February 7, 2024, for their 15th Anniversary LIMITED EDITION IN SINGAPORE concert at The Star Theatre proved that their impact is as powerful as ever. With a sold-out crowd and an electric atmosphere, it was a night of nostalgia, passion, and the unwavering bond between INFINITE and their devoted fanbase, INSPIRIT.

The night kicked off with “Last Romeo,” “Paradise,” and “The Eye,” immediately setting the tone for a performance filled with both high-energy and deep emotions. The crowd erupted as they sang along word for word, proving that INFINITE’s music remains timeless. During their opening ment, the members playfully introduced themselves in classic INFINITE fashion before engaging in a cheeky call-and-response with the fans, having INSPIRIT introduce themselves in return.

The sentimental highlight? The group reminisced about how Singapore was the very first overseas country they performed in during their debut era. Being back after all these years, they expressed immense gratitude for the fans who continued to support them through every milestone.

Diving into their discography, INFINITE delivered standout performances of “Inception,” “New Emotions” from their latest album, followed by fan-favorites “Back” and “Destiny,” proving that their signature sound remains just as impactful today.

Then came the solo stages, each one showcasing the members’ individual artistry:

Seongjong turned up the energy with “Monster Time,” bringing unexpected rocker vibes and even making his way offstage to get up close with fans.

L (Kim Myung Soo) took the spotlight with INFINITE’s “Shot” solo, hitting breathtaking high notes and proving his vocal prowess beyond his renowned visuals.

Sungyeol surprised fans by entering from the side of the venue to perform “What’s Not to Love” among the audience, a touching and personal moment that had fans scrambling to catch a glimpse.

Sungkyu and Woohyun switched things up, with Sungkyu taking on Woohyun’s “Calm & Passion” and Woohyun delivering “Kontrol” (originally Sungkyu’s), leaving fans longing once again for the long-awaited debut of INFINITE V.

Dongwoo showcased his versatility by starting his performance of “True Love” on the grand piano, proving that even as the group’s rapper, he could just as easily move hearts with his vocals.

Dressed in a fresh set of outfits, INFINITE continued with “Pray” and “The Chaser,” before dropping the announcement—a new comeback album is on the way next month. To give fans a taste, they performed an unreleased track, “SAD LOOP,” an emotional moment that quickly turned sentimental when they followed up with “Still I Miss You.”

Shifting gears, they reignited the energy with “Air” and the iconic “Be Mine,” the track that first catapulted them to success. The fan chants were deafening, a testament to how beloved the song remains to this day.

Then came a thrilling game of “Where’s INFINITE?” as they performed “Man In Love,” “She’s Back,” and “Nothing’s Over” while roaming throughout the venue, taking selfies, signing autographs, and interacting directly with fans—all while delivering flawless vocals. It was peak fan service king behavior and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many in the audience.

Before the final song, the concert took a sweet turn with a surprise birthday celebration for Woohyun, who turned another year older on February 8. The members were visibly delighted, and Woohyun jokingly declared himself “forever 21”—honestly, with his youthful energy, no one would argue otherwise.

They closed the main set with “Find Me,” leaving fans emotional yet eager for more.

As the lights dimmed, it was INSPIRIT’s turn to shine. The fans took over with an impromptu karaoke session, flawlessly singing along to INFINITE’s songs while waiting for the encore. When the members returned, they wrapped up the night with “Come Back Again,” “Entrust,” “Up to You,” and “Lately.”

From start to finish, the concert was an unforgettable journey through INFINITE’s past, present, and future. If this night proved anything, it’s that their bond with INSPIRIT remains unbreakable and their legacy as one of K-pop’s most legendary groups continues to thrive.

Super Junior-D&E, the iconic duo of Donghae and Eunhyuk, returned to Malaysian shores last Saturday (4 January), for their highly anticipated "SUPER JUNIOR-D&E WORLD TOUR : ECLIPSE in Kuala Lumpur 2025." Held at the Mega Star Arena, the concert was a joyful reunion for fans who last saw them perform in Malaysia in 2023. After 16 months, the dynamic duo’s comeback brought unparalleled energy, laughter, and unforgettable performances.

Fans were treated to an electrifying opening as the duo kickstarted the evening with "Rock Your Body," a track from Super Junior’s 9th album repackage, Timeless. This meaningful choice was extra special as it’s a song composed by Donghae himself. Following this, the duo turned up the heat with powerful renditions of "Twisted," "B.A.D," and "Danger."

A Celebration of Music and Laughter

Welcoming the crowd with a heartfelt "Happy New Year," Donghae and Eunhyuk brought both nostalgia and excitement with a setlist that included their latest tracks like "Hang Over," "Eau De Perfume," "Plausible Theory," "Only You," "New Balance," "Go High," "Run Away," "Rose," and "I Try." A highlight of the evening was during "Run Away," when a giant ramyeon prop appeared on stage. The duo’s playful interaction with the prop had the audience laughing, showcasing their signature blend of humor and charm.

Fans were also treated to hits like "Oppa Oppa," "Can You Feel It," "Growing Pains," "What is Your Name," and "GGB," which kept the energy at an all-time high. Their solo stages added another layer of excitement: Eunhyuk rocked with "Be" and "I Think I," while Donghae melted hearts with "California Love" and "One More Chance."

A Special Year Ahead

During a candid moment, Eunhyuk shared a heartfelt announcement about his upcoming solo mini album, set to release this January. "This year is special for us and for Super Junior as it marks our 20th anniversary. We’ve prepared a lot of content for you, so please look forward to it," he said. He also revealed plans for his solo concert in Seoul and a subsequent solo tour in Japan, titled Limitless: Time.

"My challenge now is releasing my own solo album. It took a lot of courage, but with the love and support from fans and staff, it’s possible. As Donghae said, take it one step at a time, and eventually, you’ll make it," Eunhyuk shared, inspiring fans with his determination.

Adding to the night’s humor, Donghae engaged with the audience by finding couples in the crowd and encouraging them to kiss, sparking laughter when fans cheekily requested that the duo kiss each other instead. Moments like these showcased why Super Junior’s variety skills are as cherished as their musical talents.

The concert wrapped up with encore performances of "Bout You," "Need You," and "Share My Love." Before bidding farewell, Donghae left fans with a promise: "It’s sad that we only perform here for a day, but we promise to return as a full group with Super Junior. Love you lots."

After an electrifying performance in Kuala Lumpur last April during their "CNBLUENTITY" tour, the trio returned on December 7 for the Malaysia stop of their "2024 CNBLUE Live in Asia 'VOYAGE into X'" tour. Held at the iconic Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands, the concert drew fans from all corners of the country, eager to experience the band’s musical journey once again.

"VOYAGE into X" embodies the themes of the ocean and cosmos, symbolizing CNBLUE’s continuous exploration of new musical territories. In contrast to April’s blue-themed aesthetic, this concert embraced festive red hues, aligning with the Christmas and year-end celebratory spirit. Fans, donning vibrant red outfits, contributed to the lively atmosphere, underscoring their excitement for the band's return.

The concert began with an electrifying opening, as CNBLUE kicked off their setlist with iconic tracks “In My Head,” “Where You Are,” and “I’m Sorry.” The trio seamlessly transitioned between their classics and songs from their latest mini-album, "X," released in October 2024. Fans swayed and sang along to new tracks like “Sleepless Night,” “BAD BAD,” “Racer,” “To My Love,” “Personal Color,” and “Tonight.”

Familiar hits such as “I’m a Loner,” “Then, Now and Forever,” “Intuition,” “Cinderella,” and “Young Forever” further energized the crowd, culminating in the fan-favorite “You’re So Fine” as the final encore. Each performance showcased the band’s versatility, musical prowess, and ability to connect deeply with their fans.

While the night was filled with excitement and nostalgia, we noted a difference in energy compared to the "CNBLUENTITY" stop in Kuala Lumpur earlier this year. The April concert left an indelible mark, setting a high standard that some felt was not entirely matched this time. Nevertheless, the Genting Highlands performance still delivered moments of brilliance, with the band’s talent shining through in every song.

As the night concluded, the enduring connection between CNBLUE and their Malaysian fans remained evident. Despite mixed reactions to the concert’s overall vibe, we remain grateful for the band’s commitment and effort. Fans eagerly anticipate what the band’s next voyage will bring, confident that CNBLUE’s journey is far from over.

Backed by stunning visuals and party-like anthems, ARTIC performed crowd favorites like “Escape,” “Dream,” and the high-energy “Do Or Die Remix,” setting the perfect tone for what was to come.
