Jang Dong Woo of INFINITE made a warm and memorable return to Malaysia with his ‘Connection’ fan concert at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on 15th August 2025, just six months after performing here with his group in February. While billed as a fan concert, Dong Woo went all out, delivering an evening packed with songs, humor, and endless fan interactions that showcased his sincerity and playful charm.

From the very start, Dong Woo made it clear this would be no ordinary fan meeting. He filled the night with a mix of live performances and personal stories that brought fans closer to his world. In the first interaction session, he candidly shared what he had been up to upon arriving in Malaysia, delighting fans with anecdotes about visiting Jalan Alor, trying durian, and hilariously imitating how stall vendors cut open the fruit. He also revealed that satay, especially with its signature peanut sauce, had become his favorite Malaysian food. With his signature humor, he recalled visiting Pavilion Mall only to find it closed, and when it began raining, he opted to wear a plastic bag on his head rather than splurge on an expensive umbrella.

The encore was another highlight. Dong Woo emerged with roses, handing them out to fans with warmth and laughter. When he ran out of flowers, he improvised by gifting anything within reach, from towels to water bottles, sparking a mix of laughter and adoration.

The evening also carried an emotional touch during the group photo session when fans unveiled a surprise video project. The heartfelt tribute nearly moved Dong Woo to tears, though he jokingly said the tears “went back in” after hearing someone shouted “Dongwoo hyung” in the video, In return, he handed his towel to the male inspirit, visibly touched by the effort and love from Malaysian fans.

What stood out most throughout the night was Dong Woo’s sincerity. Every interaction, joke, and performance radiated a sense of genuine care for his fans. He closed the evening with a heartfelt promise to return, whether as a soloist or alongside his INFINITE members, leaving fans with both joy and anticipation for the future.
